i know right.. eek.. I can't imagine his 600 for 6, thought it might have been better than what we see in this vid, considering he was in his prime for 600x6.

i'm not sure, judging from this video and the response of CF on his forum, I think it was box... He basically said something like, "ya but this wasn't ben in his prime, he squatted 600 x 6 in his prime", without clarifying it was normal atg etc, so i assume he box squatted it.

CF talks about the importance of the half-squat and not so much full squats. I get the impression that he doesn't really give a shit about ATG squats so I kind of doubt that the 600x6 was ATG.
Not that it matters, dude was still fast as hell.

ya, and most sprinters aren't going to have the best natural "ability" at ATG anyway, due to the leg length.
though, when most people think squat they automatically think "ATG", so, it's nice to clarify.
