In Aussie track news Rohan Browning ran a 9.96w 100m in a local meet in NSW. The wind was 3.3 but it was only his second 100m of the season so it will be interesting to see what he can do. Along with Jack Hale he's the fastest Australian sprinter atm.

The 100 yards doesn't get run much but Jack Hale broke a 55 year record and ran the 100 yards in 9.43 seconds. Apparently a 9.4 100 yard is about equivalent to a 10.2 100m.

New up and coming sprinters.

Terrance laird iirc who ran a 9.8 100m and boling following behind, who could make it far if he fixes some things.

Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

US trials leads to disappointment for gatlin due to hamstring Injury.

Mid race injured his hamstring.

He had strong chance of medal too, now he will have to face that long road of recovery and regaining.
