18 Dec 2010 jumps&dunks session:

Dropstep 10'7'' touch ( 7'' above 10' , 32'' , PR ):

10' dunk miss ( wasn't high enough to power it down , went in through the backboard ):

9'10'' dunk make ( went straight in , didn't touch rim ):

Good stuff, I wonder if your jumping mechanics modifies a bit when you take on the taller rim. I for one jump very different if I am to jump on a lower vs higher rim, getting much higher when jumping on the lower rim (unless it's too low for me to put any effort to jump, optimum height is about 2.85m or 9'4).

very nice on that dropstep PR vag, a few more inches and you'll be landing dunks consistently on 10'

Thanks raptor.
I used to jump lower on high rims , especially those random park rims above 10' , they somehow intimidated me. Jumping mechanics were the same i guess but if u don't believe you'll do a good jump , you won't :D Im over it now though, i jump the same in all rims. Low rims work good for building dunking confidence / improving dunking technique. Jumping height is more or less the same again.

Thanks man , 2 more inches for 10' dropstep dunk , @#$%^&*@#$!

Looking good ;D

Although I maintain my point of view in terms of compression magnitude... almost everything you put out there is voluntary generated power (like no potentiation from that mini-drop plant is occuring in your muscles). So, as is the case for ARowe, at least as far as I'm concerned, you could do a much better job there. That means there's potential for jumping higher even with your strength levels of now.

Thanks!
About FA etc , its obvious you are right, slow runups , no bounce etc.
But keep in mind that:
1) it was the first dunking session after 3 months
2) i am not bouncy anyway
3) i haven't done any reactive drills lately
4) im an old fart, those joints are rusty! :D

FA drills + more often sessions ( movement efficiency ) and it will all fall in place , no rush...

Yeah, I was just pinpointing your weaknesses as I see them, I was wondering if you agree on these.
