I got an email today "apologizing" for my name being misspelled in the book (SSTM, Special Strength Training Manual for Coaches), Darque instead of Darqui. Needless to say, i'm extremely honored to be somewhere in that book, pretty awesome. I shot back a big email detailing how much Verkhoshansky has meant to my training, and how i'm planning on giving him much gratitude once I reach my goal of 47" RVJ, just wish I would have been able to actually share it with him. R.I.P

anyway they are sending me a copy :D

Yeah, that's really cool, you're basically part of history forever (and I'm not sarcastic saying this).

Wow! Bigtime congrats, indeed.

I'm a bit curious though: Is this a book Verkho had finished prior to his passing, or is this some Tupac type deal where other people (his daughter?) are finishing it up for him?

i think it's the one he was working on when he passed away, and his daughter/some other people, possibly james smith, helped to finish it.. he already wrote this manual way back, but this is the revised/new edition.

thanks man.. in the context lance linked, that iso extension stim exercise based on his stim method/stim variants... not sure yet of course, will have to read it, probably only a small thing on it, though maybe he really expanded on it, would be awesome if that was the case.. he seemed very receptive of it back when i notified him of the idea/exercise/results on his forum.

What about a reverse hyper iso with weight?

Or the leg extension iso? Man I did that today and just felt incredible jump afterwards in the gym. Really awake my VMOs up, it felt TOTALLY different. It felt like you attached another muscle to my legs, a muscle that wasn't there before (talk about the lack of natural VMO recruitment :pissed: )

Out of curiosity, what is the Iso Extension Stim? The video doesn't work.

I never seen this before. Man Adarq is being mentioned alongside great strength and conditioning experts. That is awesome, late congrats. lol
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

Strength comes from the legs, Power comes from the torso and Speed comes from the arm. Al Vermeil
Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73
