I mean I am all about college athletes (who are receiving free education at the taxpayers expense) having accountability, being drug tested, have discipline etc etc, but this is just a whole different level

IE a lot of colleges get state monies, not a public school since obviously their is still tuition, but the taxes still contribute

kinda mis worded it not exactly at a tax payers expense, but these student athletes are getting a free education which I believe means certain standards must be met...but pre martial sex is not the exact standards i mean

this is a good example of some bad standards(and I am a pitt fan)

It's a school run by the mormons, what do you expect?

Although I guarantee every other player on the team is bagging bishes like groceries.

If that's a part of the contract this guy signed then he should have honoured it. Obviously he didn't and now he's facing the consequences of it. That's how contracts work guys.

No disagreement with you there. He broke the rules, the consequences were clear, he's gotta face the consequences.

But.

The rules are ass-fucking-backwards.

oh yea i give props to the school and whoever for enforcing the rules and commitment, but just mind blowing that it is actually a rule and someone is suspended for this when other schools there are FAR worse infractions..
