Title: BYU suspension
Post by: bball2020 on March 03, 2011, 07:26:23 pm
I mean I am all about college athletes (who are receiving free education at the taxpayers expense) having accountability, being drug tested, have discipline etc etc, but this is just a whole different level

IE a lot of colleges get state monies, not a public school since obviously their is still tuition, but the taxes still contribute

kinda mis worded it not exactly at a tax payers expense, but these student athletes are getting a free education which I believe means certain standards must be met...but pre martial sex is not the exact standards i mean

this is a good example of some bad standards(and I am a pitt fan)

It's a school run by the mormons, what do you expect?

Although I guarantee every other player on the team is bagging bishes like groceries.

If that's a part of the contract this guy signed then he should have honoured it. Obviously he didn't and now he's facing the consequences of it. That's how contracts work guys.

No disagreement with you there. He broke the rules, the consequences were clear, he's gotta face the consequences.

But.

The rules are ass-fucking-backwards.

oh yea i give props to the school and whoever for enforcing the rules and commitment, but just mind blowing that it is actually a rule and someone is suspended for this when other schools there are FAR worse infractions..

however, rules made to suppress sexuality tend to favor men at the expense of women.

fair enough...though i'd tend to disagree...i think they'd favor women since it seems easier for women to obstain from sex than men

The reason it appears women can abstain from sex easier are biological in nature, but also because they can get sex pretty much whenever they want.

Gotta respect the school for sticking to their guns even with the team playing as well as they are. To do that right before conference and ncaa tourney's is pretty tough. Finally though, somewhere that places an emphasis on something higher than athletics.

well he has a point

psychological, by men having sex or hooking up with girls, they are achieving something and will be patted out the back by their buddies

on the other hand, if women hook up with guys, it is "slutty" and does not really require any work or effort per se.

Not to mention so many females are actually so inexperienced with their bodies, IE never orgasmed or anything. Guys on the other hand..

side note-there is a mythical age where the tables change and the girls chase the guys by any means in order to get married. Or at least the guys with stable jobs.  I was referring to more 16-27 or so range.

Well if I'm a woman and go to a guy and say "hey, listen, how about we have some sex", I don't usually need to ask twice. The same DOESN'T apply to a guy.

So it depends on how hard you need to work to obtain something. If you know it's at your disposal any time you want, it won't be that "inciting" to make you drool about it.
Title: Re: BYU suspension
Post by: bball2020 on March 22, 2011, 07:09:38 am
exactly which is my whole point; women don't care as much about abstaining because a)its viewed negatively to do it and b) it is easy to obtain
Title: Re: BYU suspension

Well if I'm a woman and go to a guy and say "hey, listen, how about we have some sex", I don't usually need to ask twice. The same DOESN'T apply to a guy.

And just WHICH girl is asking me to do this? If she's under my standards I'm going to say no and vice-versa.

People may think "omg look at that girl, she can get any guy she wants. Why can't I get any girl that I want? It's not fair!" Okay but is SHE drooling over YOU? Guys tend to compare themselves to girls better looking then themselves and wonder why it's easier for girls to get guys than the opposite... it's not a good comparison.

Think about all the ugly nerdy girls, you think they don't have sex drives either? They're all looking at all the hunks in their high schools and thinking "OMGGGGG I wish I had him he's sooooo cuteee (btw girls obsess more than guys do so....). Why can't I just have any guy that I want??? life sucks!"

Believe me, girls want sex probably MORE than guys do. AND THAT'S A FACT. It's just a matter of getting them past the "socially induced slut feeling."

And I'm anticipating this in a rebuttal to a statement which I said up in the beginning of my post:
Quote
And just WHICH girl is asking me to do this? If she's under my standards I'm going to say no and vice-versa.
Yeah but if she's over your standards, you're going to say yes. But if you're over her  standards, is she necessarily going to say yes? No, because she'll be labeled a slut."

I'll address that as well... How many guys actually just GO AND ASK a girl for sex straight up? Not many. And the girls that do that? Not many. So it evens out anyway.

Plus... I know a guy who literally just walked right over to a girl who he was flirting with in his apartment (never even kissed her before, just chatted) and just straight up PUT HIS COCK IN HER MOUTH. And you know what? He fulfilled her fucking fantasy. Imagine a girl coming over to you and straight up shoving your face in her tits out of nowhere, and you've been dreaming about that. Yeah you'd be thrown off guard but you're not gonna say no motherfucker...

stop being pussies and realize that pussy needs dick too (not you raptor,  just in general!)
Title: Re: BYU suspension
Post by: adarqui on March 22, 2011, 04:19:30 pm
i've got into this discussion with raptor before, but, if some chick came up to me and said "yo let's have sex", i'd think she has HIV/AIDS and is some kind of STD-assassin sent after me by the government.

so i'd say no, get out my face..

plus it's just not alpha to accept a girl hitting on you and asking for sex/dinner etc.. alpha's go up to women and are like 'hey ma, dinner, 9pm, phone numbeR?' and it happens.. if a women is asking them for sex/date, it means that woman is trying to alpha you, and if you accept, you become beta.

so i disagree with raptor vehemently.

i definitely agree girls want sex and crave it the same or more as guys, its just the whole social slut thing.

man once girls get passed that though..

A woman's whole purpose in life genetically is to get pregnant and have kids. A man's is to spread his dna. A man can be fine just masturbating or not doing anything at all. A woman can't get herself pregnant. Women need sex. Seinfeld did an episode about this. George and Elaine both stop having sex. George becomes a genius and Elaine becomes retarded. It's an exaggeration but it's true.

The reason there’s a "double standard" is it serves no benefit for a woman to have sex with multiple people. She can only get pregnant once at a time. A man can get multiple women pregnant at the same time. Women look for the strongest traits for the father of their offspring. This used to be physically strong, but now it's confidence, money, etc. Men look for the most fertile women. That's why we are attracted to big tits and big asses.

Speaking of which...

A anxious soon to be Mormon father spoke frantically into the phone, "My wife is pregnant and her contractions are only two minutes apart!"

"Is this her first child?" the doctor asked.

"No, you idiot!" the man shouted. "This is her husband!"

While it's impossible to know how many students disobey BYU's honor code, which prohibits fornication and alcohol use, among other things, the honor code violations that come to light almost always involve student-athletes. And they almost always involve athletes of color. Since 1993, according to our research, at least 70 athletes have been suspended, dismissed, put on probation, or forced to withdraw from their teams or the school after running afoul of the honor code. Fifty-four of them, or nearly 80 percent, are minorities. Forty-one, or almost 60 percent, are black men.
