Are Pre-Workout Supplements banned in NBA?

I know some are banned in the NCAA, but how about NBA?  I've seen D-wade drink some purple drink in a blender bottle during timeouts and then come out flying (this was when Bron left Miami) in 4th quarter to help them win. It was def not gatorade, probably something similar to Muscle Pharm Assault.

I've taken that shit once before a summer league rec game and was not a good idea. I was shaking like a crackhead and out ran almost everyone the 1st play but also pulled a muscle that same play! probably because i was already pumped up.

But for NBA players this could be a really good idea for 82 game season! People do lose motivation sometimes 50 games into it in Jan or Feb on a 6 game 7 night type thing..... and it could really help.

I wonder who takes it.....
