klay thompson 60 points in 29 minutes..........

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQaGX4-Sfvg

i remember Kobe had 60 by the end of the third quarter once (or more).. but I think Klay did it faster and had the ball much less.. apparently he had the ball for 89 seconds? wtf?

Kobe had 60 through 3 against the mavs and one other team iirc.

Crazy thing here is (kinda pro/con for both Kobe and Klay)...look how freaking open he is!!!! GSW are so lethal as a squad that SOMEONE is always open. I can see him having more nights like this because what are you going to do? Double him and let Steph or KD go off? Nope. Hes just going to run off screens and get back door slips. Too easy. Pro for the team aspect for sure. Kobe had to do his on double and triple teams which speaks volumes to Kobes skill set and mind set but good lord Klay was barely breathing hard at the end lol!

If the 89 seconds thing is true it just backs up how unselfish the Warriors really are. Thats dumb crazy.

Ok....stupid stats in here....

https://www.google.com/amp/www.sbnation.com/platform/amp/2016/12/6/13854272/klay-thompson-highlights-stats-scoring-60-points?client=ms-android-uscellular-us

i was going to quote some stuff from the article but... people should just read the article. some crazy stats/info in there.

ya I remember when Kobe scored 60 by the third.. I think I had NBA League pass back then because I tore my calf playing basketball.. was addicted to basketball during that time. I remember Kobe went off, like ten+ 50+ pt games or something nutty. That's also when Arenas was on GSW? Wish he had stayed on GSW, they had a sick squad back then.

Klay's 60 with so much efficiency is just mind blowing.. He hit a few crazy difficult shots too tho, not everything was clean open.. especially that one turnaround 3 fading out of bounds lmao.

One of the best interviews i've seen too (that one moment).. Curry poors ice on him, interviewer asks him if that cooled him down, and he goes "Nope. Still hot." (/mic drop).

warriors are currently on pace to be the most offensively efficient team in history. i was a little bit of a durant skeptic, thinking that maybe he would gum up what was already a great machine. boy was i wrong.

It seems like they are clicking great lately, but i'm still worried about them come playoff time.

Last year it seemed GSW spent so much energy winning everything in the regular season, that come playoff time they looked pretty drained.. those Curry injuries didn't help much either. But they seemed like two different teams.

They have so many weapons now though - with the addition of Durant.. On paper this team looks like a lock for the 2016-2017 title.. but i dno, i'd still lean towards Cleveland.

Tangent:

I'd like to see OKC vs GSW in the playoffs ... I just want to see WB go nuts against Durant.

Was watching lebron's stats in those first games: 23.4 points , 8.9 rebounds , 9.6 assists

Sure he will step off the gas on the way, but if he wanted he could become the only player after Oscar Robertson to average a triple-double for a whole season cumulative statistics.

Also, Harden : 28.7 points , 7.8 rebounds , 12.6 assists
Also , Westbrook : 31.8 points , 9.5 rebounds , 9.8 assists

Crazy performances!!!

Yup, lebron's and harden's numbers started falling a bit, while westbrook's increased, he is now at 10.5 rebounds and 11.3 assists per game, points still above 31, Sick!!!

BUMP, updating ~2 months later:

Lebron : 25.6p 8.5a 8.0r 25.74pr
Westbrook : 30.8p 10.2a 10.6r 29.13pr
Harden : 28.8p 11.5a 8.2r 27.73pr
Target training paces (min/km), calculated from 5K PR 22:49 :
Easy run : 5:48
Tempo run : 4:50
VO2-max run :4:21
Speed form run : 4:02

---

it's the biggest trick in the run game.. go slow to go fast. it doesn't make sense until it smacks you in the face and you're like ....... wtf?

ya, that's one of the most impressive achievements in sport imho.. to do it all, in an nba so athletically impressive as it is today, is just incredible.

draymond had a triple double with single-digit points last night. first time in NBA history.

this season is great... and the heat won 13 straight (until yesterday). /poem ... I can't believe they are in the playoff hunt, pretty sick.

imagine passing Wilt on a list like that.. Passing Oscar would be unreal.
