You can even see at 3:16 how one of the refs actually kind of winks at him as if he's saying "hey good job, smash them down".
-
The blame goes 100% on the coach. Despite being in high school (I'm guessing) and should be old enough to know better, kids are just stupid. I don't blame the kid. Heck, the coach probably told him to play physical. Fact is, if that coach lets that kid stay out there and play like that he is only encouraging it.
All blame on the coach.

"All" blame?
How about the refs?
-
LOL, I'd love to play against that fat kid.

You're a masochist huh? Nice.
What are you wearing?

I actually agree. What I wouldn't have given to have a guy play like that against me more often. There's so many ways to just flat out embarrass a kid like that. Not to mention, I'd have score 50 with the free throws I'd have gotten. I wouldn't want him thrown out if he was against me. I'd just collect all 5 fouls against him and go on my way.
The trick against players like that is to not leave the ground. If you're tough enough you can take a shove or a punch but if you jump and leave your feet then you're in trouble.

Nope. 100% on the coach. The refs are bad at their jobs but with the exception of the one where he pulls the kid down you can make the argument that all the others were "basketball plays" in the essence that he was either going for the ball or it happened due to the nature of the play. Of course, I don't believe that AT ALL but if you want to get technical about it then it's the truth.

No, it is NOT. The ref actually smiles and pretty much says "good job" at 3:16.
Why it's OK for the refs to be bad at their jobs but for the coaches it isn't?

It's not the refs job to teach those guys how to actually play basketball and how to act on the floor. It is the coach's job to do that in practice and in the games. Coach allowed it to happen. Yes, the refs sucked by not doing anything about it in the actual game. But still, all on the coaches. They set the examples for these young players.

Yeah but it's also the refs' job. If you see a guy hammer another with no intention to play the ball that's a flagrant foul. On his second attempt he should've been thrown out of the game. Easy.

I'm 6'1 225. When guys try to foul me hard on my drives they usually go flying or they get hurt. I'd LOVE to see if this fat kid could actually knock me off my feet. And if he fouled one of my teammates like that, I'd just dip my shoulder on a drive to the bucket and break the kid's rib. I'm really shocked the other coach didn't have a football player on his team just for that purpose.
-
i'd love to play against that fat dickhead. but the red team also have a problem. 6 times they took hits and they didn't even get in somebody's face.

Haha, you told me. Nicely done. I humbly accept defeat and acknowledge your superiority. Well said, never in the entire existence of the internet has anyone been so verbally demolished. This pain and guilt I will wear on my shoulder the rest of my life.
Congratulations, today is your fucking day.
