should be a great fight.. people have been looking forward to this for a long time.

not sure how Keith will look considering he's coming off that car accident and some prior injuries.. but, if he's in top form, I think he's winning this fight. Porter is no joke though, he's a bull.

top form Thurman = decision win... anything less, dno, could definitely go to Porter, he knows how to grind out fights.

i'll be hoping keith thurman wins though, big fan of his.

the PBC card starts around 9 PM ET i think.

I think you mistyped the date it should be 06/25/2016 not going to be picky about the name spelling lol

but ye it is an intriguing matchup, keith thurman has had a longer lay off then shawn who had a stay busy fight even if it was in his gym. and as you mentioned keith thurman's car accident.

keith had problem in knocking bundu out because of awkward (this spellings looks wrong but meh) so if shawn porter boxes moves he has good chance, keith relies on his power punch too much and shawn porter showed some flaws when he fought kell brook and got knocked down by adrien.

but intriguing to see what happens. I am a fan of both but I think porter maybe able to pull if off with a majority decision

Warm up drills
 - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
 - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

keith has good boxing too though.. he definitely has serious power but, i wouldn't say he relies on it. he can box if he has too.

should be a great fight.. very excited to see it. both guys are elite young fighters.

great fight! definitely a war..

Thurman definitely showed his boxing skills imho, very slick counters and movement.. Also tons of power, but Porter is just a beast. He's got heart & chin, too hard to get him out of there. Thurman had him rocked 3 times.. he also hit him with KO level shots and Porter just ate them.

Biggest worry for me, with Thurman, is his conditioning.. Seems like every time he goes 12, he's fading in the later rounds (10-12). He looked very tired come round ~8 or so, but he just gutted it out. Porter on the other hand looked fresh.

Thurman should have avoided the ropes.. I understood what he was doing, basically rope-a-doping, but it just made Porter look like he was winning rounds. If he avoided that all-together, he would have won by a bigger margin.

Really good fight.

I'm not eager to see a rematch though, i'd like to see Thurman take on some 'bigger names' but also more KO'able names. He throws some massive shots, it's fun to watch.

Porter is very solid, but Thurman is that "next level guy".

pc!

it was an awesome fight an all out war, but not reckless war like vargas vs salido, its coordinated attacks from thurman and porter tried everything to rush him and take him out.

thurman was very good in his boxing especially his counters, were very deadly he had a very keen eye that even when it got messy he was able to time porter and throw in some good shots, especially those powerful shots porter walked into.

this is how i wanted may vs pac, they sort of resemble them in terms of style, porter with the staggering steps to fake as pacquiao does and thurman with his excellent counters and good defence.

porter did have heart, he would be careless at times, but it never bothered him, he would just jump in.
I would like to see thurman knock out danny garcia.

I also watched the anthony joshua fight, easy fight for joshua against brezealed and then when i watched highlights of eubank jr vs doran, eubank jr is just so confident especially during one of the rounds he was sticking his head out and missing most if not all of dorans punches, which you can see from the video below

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BjkKxncIoo

The part i was referring to starts at 1:03, confident or cocky.

He wants to fight golovkin and I see that going to golovkin easy, as I seen eubank jr he finds the opportunity and lunges in with the uppercuts but if he faces golovkin he would be missing alot of those shots and most likely will get knocked out.

lol @ eubank jr wanting to fight golovkin.

eubank jr hasn't fought anyone yet.. i mean he looks decent, but he's asking for trouble if he thinks he can get in there with golovkin right now. that fight won't get made until eubank jr gets some bigger names on his belt.

i mean, people want to see mayweather jr vs golovkin, ward vs golovkin etc.. those are the biggest names in boxing. i've never heard anyone mention Eubank Jr. :F

On the other hand.. looking forward to seeing Joshua fight bigger names. Man that dude is a freak. He seems to fight like every damn week too, hehe. Joshua has canon power.
