Wow what an excellent night of boxing, loved the hbo fight and showtime. firstly bradley vs chaves

that guy is tough, but bradley had a good gameplan of boxing and trying to power punch the other guy is good aswell, he was good counter punching and can take a punch and that guy was swinging and countering, and they both were trying to knockout each other from round 1 without any signs of tiring, but when I heard one person gave it to chaves, i was like what?, second guy gave it to bradley was good than i was thinking the third guy is a good judge and he gave it a draw  :uhcomeon: i was shocked. man bradley's eyes swole up, on the cheek aswell lol.

the thurman fight was good, but the 40 year old fighter was good also, he would not go down but he was also undefeated, but he was very awkward for thurman, thurman was not able to do much, so funny everybody boing thurman because he didn't knockhim out, pathetic, but he said I will fight the way i want to fight lol, they are not the ones boxing.

finally, khan vs alexander, a favorite fight, i like this khan more, very minimum holding, this is the khan i knew and liked, he was fast and he doesn't have knockout power so khan didn't have to be very cautious but sometimes he would jump in but it was a little and go caught but composed himself and continued, he was very good fast and would love to see khan vs mayweather.

so an excellent knight of fighting, the first fight on the hbo broadcast, the decision was outrageos, i heard, saw highlight, can't believe they gave the decision to benavidez, lol, cost him the title.

 :headbang: great fights

excellent night of fights..

you forgot one mention: Andy Lee.

Dude he is becoming so predictable. He gets beat for most of the fight then somehow KO's his opponent. When people get too confident against him, they get caught. Then it's game over.

Andy Lee has been very impressive lately. Korobov is no joke, highly touted prospect. He fought decent against korobov then hit him with that canon.

Also, Mares looked very impressive. His opponent was tough, not necessarily highly skilled. Mares had a few ~8-10 punch combinations in that fight, so much speed + power. He's looking good lately. I lost hope for him last year, but he's earning that respect back. Looks like he's definitely improving.

ya wtf was up with his cheek? was his jaw broken? everyone kept mentioning his eye but damn his cheek was wrecked.

It was a decent fight for sure, i'm just always in awe of bradley's lack of power.. He needs to tighten up his punches, he throws lots of sloppy shots (though with good speed etc).

Very impressed with Bundu's conditioning/speed/ability. He's such an awkward fight. Those fans suck for booing because that was definitely a tough fight for Thurman. Thurman didn't look as powerful as normal, perhaps too many shoulder injuries as of late? I just think Bundu was hard for him to time/predict. I imagine he's a tough fight for anyone. I was impressed with Thurman's boxing ability. He's the total package: power + skill.

Alexander has pretty much become a sparring partner.. The guy just can't "turn it on" (hit that next gear).. really sucks because he's obviously talented.

Khan came out pretty fierce to start that fight. He acts so much different now. He has lots of 'angry aggression'.

I feel bad for Herrera.. This is the second time i've seen him robbed. I watched him beat Danny Garcia in Puerto Rico only to get robbed by the judges, just like he did in this fight.. Some people have no luck.

Boxing needs to be investigated, this shit is becoming criminal.

ya!

Did you notice that, everyone who fought 'backing up' won? Something to be said about that..

Mayweather/Pacquiao getting closer.. lots of shit talking/calling each other out.. hope that fight gets made, would be enormous.

pC!

That's true.  ::)

Yeah so much talk happening with may weather, but I feel its a trick may weather is pulling because canelo vs cotton happening on cinco de mayo and sees only pacquiao can steal show from canelo so he is putting bob on tight spot take pacquiao fight or cotto fight he will have to give one up and if he decides to remain faithful to dela hoya people will feel arum is stopping major fight, very shrewd
