October 15th. Hate how it's on PPV even though neither fighter wanted it, but apparently HBO had scheduling issues. Nevertheless, Hopkins by UD.

I'm going to assume that TKO gets protested, but if Hopkins doesn't get an MRI that shows some kind of damage he doesn't deserve a rematch.

he prolly separated it on the way to the hospital..
damn that sucks, i think he separated it on the punch though where it went over dawson's body.. that fall was nothing.. and u can see him grimmissisisnigngn (sp?) on the way down before the fall.
who knows.. but i guess im less annoyed with hopkins now that i know it's legit ;d

I don't know what to say to this but wtf happened.
hopkins says he grabbed both of his leg when looking at the replay i can see dawson's right arm close to his body attacking him with his shoulder and the other arm grabbed the leg but quickley let go and just threw him off his back not too much to throw him on the floor. That guy didn't have a bad leg that he couldn't maintain balance enough. but probably the ref would have counted it as a knockout if he did try to maintain balance as he would probably touch the gloves on the floor and would give him a bad score.
it looks as though he was not faking it but exaggerated more than it is and didn't realize he would get hurt on his shoulder.
so i don't know, im stumped :-\

lol i just came here sorry for being late but i think it should be a no contest at the least hopkins is a very fusturateing fighter to fight and chad chucked him lol i don't know why chad is boasting like he got a k.o victory.

Well Bernard Hopkins, the one that lost anyway appealed against the results and they changed the result to a draw.
:-\ i guess its what both didn't want and thats what they got.

Yea. He was getting it back even if the Commission didn't overturn the decision.

Hopkins by UD. I feel Dawson will go for some knockouts though which will also make him vulnerable to a knockout, but idk how much power Hopkins has left.

he did fight good though, i mean, good for what he does.. he looked sharp, great shape, fast.. hard to imagine he's like 80 years old..
dawson seemed genuinely impressed in the post fight interview.. he gave bhop tons of props.. i think dawson thought he would hurt him.
