Title: Boxing after dark: Lemieux vs Rosado, Ceneno vs De la Rosa, Dulrome vs Lundy
Post by: adarqui on December 07, 2014, 12:33:43 pm
Great night of fights.

Lemieux hits HARD. Rosado is always tough, I think that's the worst I've seen him get beat. Lemieux was punching right through him, so much power.

Centeno is very impressive. Lanky as hell but has some decent power. His jab is ridiculous. Definitely want to see him again.

I though Lundy was the better fighter vs Dulrome. Not sure if he won it on cards, it could have gone either way, but Lundy was definitely there to win. He was stalking Dulrome the entire fight and had him in all of the later rounds. Dulrome doesn't like being in those kinds of fights, it's obvious. He's not as good as people think. If Lundy just tightened up his shots he would have landed more, he wings his shots too much, but at least you know he wants to kill his opponent.

Next week, tons of good fights:

HBO:

Bradley / Chavez
Lee / Korobov

Showtime:

Khan / Alexander
Thurman / Bundu

HBO's lineup is better but I love watching Thurman. Thurman has lethal power and boxing skill, total package. Bradley / Chavez is going to be a War.

I decided not to watch the fight, but saw the highlights, as I don't know how good the other fighters were so saw highlight for rosado vs lemieux.

I was thinking rosado was a good boxer, but in this fight he didn't look very skilled, he seemed to tire towards the end but lemieux suprised me, he was powerful and rosado could not defend against it, the ref was a bit confused on stopping the fight and then said continue lol.

But I am more excited at next weeks fight.

ya the ref was confused, i think mostly due to the fact that the doctor who urged it to be stopped, wasn't even the real ring doc.. it was some athletic commission guy (one of the high ups i think).
