I got Rigo in 12 .. but i'm not confident about it.

rigo in 12 is a risky pick because he's just not as active as Loma .. but i'm basing my pick on him shutting Loma down. His counter punching & defense should slow Loma down for the first time in his career.. based on that, I pick Rigo.

Rigondeaux is very good and calculated, while you have lomachenko who is dynamic throwing the combos. Very interesting fight.

One thing that makes me doubt rigondeaux is will he able to carry his strength and power to the new weight. Rigondeaux is moving up a weight to fight loma so wouldn't reduce his chances. I also love lomachenko besides the circus acts from time to time.

I pick lomachenko UD12 cos he can go in and out. But it's hard to pick it's literally #1 vs #2

yup the weight aspect of it definitely has me skeptical for Rigo, but I think his style is one in which weight advantages aren't so much of an advantage, since he's such an incredible defender + counter puncher.

Deep down I also want to see Loma "frozen". I want to see how he responds when he gets frozen, like how Floyd freezes everyone who fights him, I think Rigo can do something similar to Loma. It's at that point where Loma's weight advantage can definitely help though, just like how Maidana's weight advantage in the first fight helped him a ton vs Floyd, but Maidana is a pure slugger so I think that actually helps in making a fight very dirty and giving yourself more of a chance on the cards.

The big test to me, is to see how Loma reacts to being popped with laser sharp counters and also not being able to hit Rigo when he normally connects with his opponents. If Loma can dispose of Rigo, i'll be incredibly impressed. One thing I know though, is Loma gets frustrated when his opponent "hides" from him. Rigo is going to hide, and attack, repeat for 12. So will Loma's frustrations manifest again in a fight like this? I definitely think so.. and I think that'll end up hurting him.

word!!!

can't wait!
