Post by: seifullaah73 on March 06, 2012, 07:51:43 pm
Since mayweather nearly due for his imprisonment in june, is he stupid enough to make it worse on himself so much that he could end up in the state prison. im guessing this is the one where there are alot of criminals all in one place, drugs, so and so.

Floyd Mayweather Jr could be in trouble again if this is true

By Superstar Billy Graham

The Superstar ran into this article that claims Floyd Mayweather Jr and his bodyguards took a portrait painting of Floyd and sped away, leaving the artist of the painting in shock. (Article)

Apparently, a struggling artist wanted to get the portrait of Floyd Jr autographed by Floyd Jr himself while at the press conference. According to the article, apparently one of Floyd Jr’s bodyguards or driver gestured to the artist and said “Give us that painting!!” The artist, so surprised and happy that he will get his one and only original portrait of Floyd Jr autographed, approached Floyd Jr’s Rolls Royce where the driver took the painting and pen, stepped on the pedal and took off with the painting and the pen. Leaving the artist and his friend dumbfounded on what had just transpired.

Now why would Floyd Jr do something this stupid since he is already facing jail time on June 1st ? Floyd Mayweather Jr was charged with larceny in Las Vegas on 2010 for taking the Iphone from his then ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris. If this story is true and confirmed, and the artist of the painting decides to press charges, Floyd Mayweather Jr is looking at possible grand theft or larceny. Floyd Jr or his driver, did not instruct the artist to leave his phone number to be contacted nor left a phone number for the artist to contact them so to make arrangements to purchase the original painting of Floyd.

The Superstar doesn’t know if this will in any way affect the jail sentence Floyd will be facing on June 1st. Since this happened in California, it may not fall into Nevada’s jurisdiction. However, will this be counted as a second strike? Since he pleaded guilty for domestic violence, will this count against Floyd if it were deemed Floyd did commit a crime? Only time will tell but this is clearly a bonehead move if this is actually true. We may hear something soon, hopefully to clear the air or confirm that this crime did happen. It seems to be on the up and up, since it doesn’t seem to be a made up story.
Now if this is absolutely true, Floyd Mayweather Jr is in deep trouble again and this time it could cost him some serious time in jail. The Superstar is sure, Floyd Jr’s larceny charge from the Las Vegas incident may come into play if this were to go to court. The Superstar will wonder how this will play out and what possible explanation Floyd Jr will say to justify by taking that painting. And the value of the original one of kind painting may also come into play. If the value of the painting is over $950, this could even more serious. In the State of California, Grand Theft has changed from $400 to $950. So if the value of the painting is $950 or over, this will be considered Grand Theft which carries prison time at the State Correctional Facility. This will be very serious and Floyd may be more worried than ever because it will be in a State Prison. And that is one scary thought even for world class fighter like Floyd Mayweather Jr.
