Mayweather vs Guerrero (Spoiler Alert)

What a night of boxing.

Mayweather proving himself again, he was quick and always finds a blueprint to defeat his opponent.

In this fight, robert guerrero started off good, getting some good shots not powerful enough to do much damage, mayweather keeping calm and his composure knows that guerrero will get dirty if the need arises. later on the round around round 3,4 mayweather found a way to defeat guerrero, he was attacking his body in the early rounds and then the straight right hand always get guerrero, everytime he hits the straight it lands and it does damage, it even busted his eyes.
Mayweather was slick and defensive and accurate maybe even better than his old self. Thats what gets floyd to the top, excellent defense and evasiveness, when robert punches it hits floyds elbow which is near his head for defence, his slick manouvre when he evaded all of roberts coming power punches.

I had a feeling robert couldn't get it done, because i feel cotto is better than him thats why he had no chance, but hat off to guerrero for trying and coming back, reminded me a little of victor getting angry but he didn't over react with anger.

But floyd, still undefeated, and hate to admit it but he is one of great fighters out there especially with his speed, defense, accuracy, thats all you need to win.

I saw abne mares vs daniel ponce de leon, daniel looked strong and ready to knock mares out but he would be come over confident and bang knocked out, twice, the other guy was very smart, he was strong, smart and patient, the last knockout was amazing, when in a clash, and as he was coming out of the tussle he swang his right and floored ponce de leon.

the stoppage was maybe too early, even though i saw abne mares (don't know spelling) was hitting his a jaw with a power shots a lot that after when a few exchanges the referee stopped probably a bit later he would have stopped if not then.

overall two great fights,  :headbang:

not too interested with the klitschko fight, not really much of a challenge for him.
Warm up drills

   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up

Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

Exactly! He mentioned he got his father to train him on his defence, as he said the less you get hit, the longer you will survive and more chance of winning, or something like this.

That was a MASTERFUL performance by mayweather jr...... Very impressed with how he completely neutralized Guerrero, made him miss so many clean shots. Guerrero is a damn decent fighter, good speed, great aggression, great conditioning, etc.. PBF slipped so many clean shots it was disgusting.

props to pbf on that one.. obviously he isn't a KO artist so expect all of these fights to go 12.. I watched it again last night and was even more impressed with his performance.
