Canelo vs GGG officially set for september 15th. It was almost cancelled after canelo's side refused 50-50 and being a diva.

glad ggg gave them what they wanted just to give the fans the fight we wanted.

now go and smash canelo's face, drop him on his ass.

I give it to ggg for unanimous decision.

nice!! ya, hoping GGG takes him out now.

Spence vs Ocampo, everyone knew how it would turn out and that's how it did turn out. Calls himself the body snatcher lol.

dat low blow tho. even without it, was inevitable.

https://www.dawn.com/news/1420236/waseem-floors-mthalane-but-loses-world-title-via-decision

a quetta-born boxer lost a world title bid. pakistan doesn't produce many elite athletes, other than cricket players, so this was news here today.
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

Pacquiao vs Lucas matthysse, what a great fight.
Spoiler below
pacquiao not careless but still carries his power and combo.

Lucas would start to be cautious of trading as pacquiao seems to always catch him and then pacquiao's famous left uppercut was the key to his victory and now his late but better than never victor by stoppage. great fight.

ya it was good. my dad wanted to watch it so i found him a stream. didn't expect pac to look that good.. don't think it was mattyse looking bad, he's always solid/tough/lots of power. pac looked decent, good movement, solid power, but still his same old sloppy D as the fight goes on. he just gets too confident when he's controlling someone, gives people at exploiting his "chin". and from that recap, I avoided the spoiler!

thanks for the link!

OMG what a fight. two undefeated champions facing off. definitely a fight of the year candidate.

Robert easter jr tall and rangy and you have mikey garcia who is calculate brawler and his left hook is deadly. robert easter starts quick early with the stiff sharp jabs but garcia being patient and just waiting and until when he starts jumping in and hitting and lands that ko shot damn off balance. robert easter was making fun of garcia's body at the weigh in no six packs or any tonage but stil powerful enough. but robert easter still fighting back he did move alot in one round but that was his downfall he has a good jabs but is not able to follow up properly without getting hit.
then garcia hits the gas and takes it to him towards the last few rounds and just shows how great he is. strong, powerful, calculated, smart, patient with counterpunching capabilities.

he wants to face spence at 147 but spence is too powerful, I don't know he would want that but if he is confident then who knows what can happen.

Dillian whyte vs joseph parker
Big heavy sluggers fighting, what more is there to add. parker looked the cleaner boxer but exhausted quickly and whyte just taking advantage bringing him down until the last round parker knocks him out and a few seconds before the end of the last round dillian just holds on to parker and the rope regardless of the ref's attempts to stop the hold until the bell rang he literally was out and just had to be dropped and it's over but saved by the bell. It got exciting towards the end. Dillian the more powerful and parker just exhausted and exposed.

it was a really nice fight. I watched it live. Easter really brought it, he had some beautiful jabs.

Mikey is just on another level. Not sure how he's going to be able to get a W against Spence.. Spence is just too big for him. But, Mikey is confident and trusts his skills. I wouldn't call it a given W for Spence, that's for sure. Just too much of a size difference though. Who knows, maybe Spence doesn't have the kind of chin we suspect he has. Mikey will test it if they fight.

as far as the body comments go by Easter, that was just a waste of time. Mikey is an animal, doesn't need cuts/six pack, dude has power & serious skill. Easter knows that. Just a waste to even bring it up, unless Easter is that stupid, that he'd think it would get into the head of someone of Mikey's pedigree. lmao.

Devon alexander vs andre berto, slow and a little boring. alexander was the more quicker and effective fighter but soo much holding and struggling. Berto managed to get some late rounds but not all and yet two judges somehow had berto winning 8 rounds to 4 lol.

https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6rhbxp

OMG Kovalev vs Eleider alvarez what a great fight such great exchanges. Must watch.
https://www.ok.ru/video/809927969472
Spoiler below (only read once you have watched)
Elieder vs alvarez was a great fight, elieder seemed to have the better boxing skills and also looked clean with his jabs, but kovalev's punches just painful everytime, alvarez won first two rounds and then kovalev doing damage and alvarez does not have that much of a good defence so when he was in danger kovalev would just hunt him down and alvarez had no defence to stop, rounds were a little close towards the end, I was starting to lose interest until last round, alvarez starting to get control and then BAM that right hand that knocks kovalev down and then has the upper hand again KAPOW, kovalev is down and dazed but manages to get up and then final blow by alvarez to knock kovalev and win by TKO awesome fight mainly because of the fact that an underdog did that much damage and I feel beat kovalev more convincingly no controversy there. GREAT JOB ALVAREZ

Also alvarez only punches with his two main knuckles because of some injury and im guessing its the first two finger knuckles and yet does this to kovalev, he is tall and rangy and a great boxer and has power, good things await this guy.

khan vs samuel vargas

Disappointed that khan got chin checked again, the glass jaw, he still has not learned his lesson from the previous knockouts. But still won a fight by UD. samuel vargas was not really that good but he is a brawler who can take a lot of shots to the face. like a proper mexican brawler. But lacked the boxing skills and defence.

will watch the garcia vs porter fight

garcia/porter should be good!

tbh i'd like garcia to win. don't enjoy watching porter, he makes fights so messy/mauling/holding style.

garcia has some solid power, hope he catches porter :D

Definitely agree with you there. porter is definitely a messy fighter and he brawls and hopes on his messy style to bring him out on top. If garcia can be composed and smart and just pick his shots he can get porter out of there, but you have to becareful of headbutts with porter's style. like his fight with brook, bone (or something like that don't remember the name) but he never wins convincingly he gets into a brawl and hopes to come out on top.

hope garcia wins.

OMG WHAT a fu**ing amazing fight. Any close rounds which I doubted I gave to danny garcia and I had it 7 rounds to 5 shawn porter. Garcia during the middle rounds didn't really know how to handle the pressure shawn was coming with and would wait and pick his shots, some very good left counter hooks but shawn porter just going in to the body and some interesting counter punches. First few rounds I saw shawn won the majority danny waiting and picking his shots, porter did miss a lot of shots to when swinging but he putting the pressure to garcia, who just freezes. In the middle round it was going both ways, garcia starting to put the pressure but when he gets hit he starts to back off the pedal a bit and counter. I think he gave those rounds away and the last round I gave to garcia and round 11 to shawn porter.

I don't like when shawn goes messy but in this fight I liked it because it wasn't too messy a lot of targeted aggression just chasing him with some mess in there. Shawn got tired a little but he knew that if he put on the pressure he was going to win. some carelessness from porter with wild hits especially when he hits comes low and his head unguarded and giving garcia opportunity, there was one time where it was open a lot that garcia targetted it late and porter leaned back.

great fight of the year candidate.

Highlights of kovalev vs alvarez, I'm sure you saw the garcia vs porter fight.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kV_RKItWwls

Shawn porter vs Errol spence 2019 - would be interesting to see how errol handles shawn's pressure style fighting.
