Exactly what everyone has said about him charging $5,000 for consulting services. It's just price benchmarking FTW. It's the same reason the iPhone was $600 or whatever when it first came out. Make people think it's worth that much, then drop the price to $300 and suddenly everyone is getting a great deal! 50% off holy shit!
The funny thing is, it works like a charm or you wouldn't see it in every single infomercial ever. "For a limited time, the snuggie, a $20 value, can be yours for just $12.99! What's more, if you order in the next twenty minutes, we'll throw in a second snuggie, absolutely free!"
Same principle.
ya for sure.. it's funny how all of those infomercials have the same exact tactics/strategies. honestly, who is dumb enough to believe that if you don't call within the next 20 minutes the offer is gone? find me this person please.. unfortunately i'm sure many exist

HOW CAN YOU BE THAT STUPID, WHAT'S NEXT WHAT'S NEXT WHAT'S NEXT (that guy has a great youtube).
btw, that top notch iPad piece of shit had a major security flaw and i think hundreds of thousands of them got breached.. serves em` right for "price benchmarking" (thanks for that term, will now use it often) .
imagine having bought an iPhone for $600 too.. i hope none of you did, i mean if you did that sucks for you lol.
