whatever bro. I just want the football. The debate is about their health, many of them are having serious health problems. I saw a show saying that many of them lose all that money and can't keep it for their entire lives anyway. They work extremely hard for a short period, make alot of money, then they cannot(physically) work again. that money spent out throught their lives is not making them as rich as one might think. Divide that million by years, taxes...ect.

18 game regular season is stupid, it should literally be 10 or so.. so keep it at 16 or lower it, football is too brutal to play week after week.. in reality, they need more rest.

Don't kid yourself. Every labor dispute in pro sports is about revenue sharing. Sure, they may hide behind the health issues, and may try to use them to get the PR; but every, single, dispute, is about how much money the billionaire owners think they should get to keep from giving these millionaire/thousandaire athletes. Who gets a bigger piece of the pie is the main ordeal. Always has been, always will be.
Believe me, I sure do hope they get the better healthcare plans and I don't want a longer season either. But that's just not what they're fighting over.
NFL and the NBA will have a lockout next year simply because the rich want to get richer.

Fuck them, no sympathy here. I don't know why anyone would cry for millionaires that piss away everything they have.
