I know lol. I was trying to say the Rip/Moser argument is essentially a troll. Or at least a straw man argument. There are always gonna be lifters who aren't particularly good squatters but still do very well in the competition lifts. By singling out John they've found themselves the perfect scapegoat lifter (and, by proxy, coach) who has both rough appearing technique and who is a notoriously weak squatter for his strength level
