So this guy definitely has some hops, and this is not necessarily a call out.  He's brand new it seems, so it will be interesting to see what stuff he puts out.  His short term program that's supposed to last a couple weeks is just box stepups, squat jumps, and depth jumps lol.  I really don't know what to say, but I'm subscribing just to watch him.  He sounds like he genuinely wants to help though.

He was vp of vertfreak for a while, dont really know anything else about him but he was promoting the give away stuff for a long time for vf, was real active in marketing.

edit: bam, found it, It looks like all his videos were taken down recently from vertfreaks channel, but fc101 has it still up Smiley

lol, I should've realized that he was associated with Linkenauger.  He's a high jumper from Clemson I'll stay subscribed to him anyways until he starts trying to actually sell something that might be sketchy, then I'll be sure to post something about that.  It looks bad for him so far with lance's finds.

Yeah I remember him from vertfreak.

I actually have saved a video that was made by him that was on youtube about jumpers knee and he says "hi, it's scott from vertfreak101"

Bit damn sneaky to say that his close friend forced him to do it. Although like Daballa100 says, untill he starts trying to sell something then it's all good, but with a page like he's got it's surely only a matter of time.

I had a 20 inch vertical jump when I was 16 and by the time I was 19 I could jump over 40 inches. I want my story of being crazy unconfident as a 16 year old, to getting a college scholarship, to inspire people. Am I selling a vertical jump course? Yes. I am, but I have made it extremely hands on where I am there on a weekly basis for the members. Showing them the workouts, answering questions with video responses, and sharing what worked for me.  It is completely different than anything.

I have bought 4 jump programs in my life, and I can honestly say I was always dissapointed. People would take my money and run the other way. The whole reason I created JumpGuy University was so that athletes would have someone to motivate them and make sure they finish the workouts! Nobody can make crazy gains in 2 weeks, it takes time. I think you will all agree that at least 95% of people who buy vertical jump programs dont finish them. I didnt finish the 4 I bought, all the way through.

I have been very upfront and honest with everything I have done in my athletic career, and am doing now with JumpGuy University. I am trying to do more than just help people jump higher. I want to inspire athletes (the younger ones especially) to know that they can accomplish anything they want in life, as long as you have a plan. It bothers me how many kids think that being successful is hopeless. If athletes would just have a plan, and do it...they would succeed more than sitting around thinking they arent good enough. I am giving my mini jump program away for free because it was more than others were giving out to people, and a lot of people have no clue what exercises to do. As far as the page looking scammy that asks you to put in your email... For the athletes who are interested I ask them for their email so that I can follow up with them about more training tips and workouts. (I would have no way of following up with the interested people if I didnt do that)

So I have nothing to hide here. If kids have had questions for me I have given them my phone number and had them call me. I  was one of the people who bought everything, and now that I figured out that most of them dont work, or most people just dont finish them... I wanted to create something different.

That's my story, I have nothing to hide.

thanks for the reply.

as for the "website looking scammy" comment, it's not just about the email, it's that it looks the same as many of those other questionable vertical jump websites offering programs, they all have the same "look and layout".. any clarification on that? i'm curious why it's laid out like those other sites, i mean, you contact a company to set it up for you or what? dno just curious about that, never understood why so many vert program sites have that layout.

peace

lol it's nice you commented here.  I noticed your stuff looks a little different from all the "big name guys."  Like when I got emails from you I noticed you put your address at the bottom.  You also replied to me right away on youtube, and you answer most if not all questions on youtube.  Whenever someone tries to give out vertical advice though it just looks very scammy, even if you do want to genuinely help.

All that matters to me is motivating athletes to be better. Thats it. If people want to think I look scammy, thats totally cool. Nobody has to go to my website, nobody has to invest in JumpGuy University, but for the people who do.... I am going to do all I can to help them succeed.

Thank you for your time guys.
