Hello! I'm Kokoy, well as you can see on my username, and I'm a Filipino. I'm 17 yrs old. I want to bust the stereotypes and myths that we Filipinos (and Asians) can't jump high (except for the tall guys)! That's one of my goals in life, to have 45+ inch vertical, and to be an inspiration for my friends and countrymen.

I did VJB with good results, around 5 inches in 5 months. I'm doing VertFreak 2.0 now for my first week and will know that i will gain much from it. I'm just a bit worried though Adam Link is a very nice guy but all of his marketing hype and promotion of Squatflex has destroyed his reputation. As Abraham Lincoln said, "If you once forfeit the confidence of your fellow citizens you can never regain their respect and esteem. It is true that you may fool all the people some time; you can even fool some of the people all the time; but you can't fool all the people all the time". That's why I'm losing confidence on him. But still he gives free coaching in facebook and twitter.  Smiley

I am personally gratified as what this forum is aiming to do, giving free and reliable information for those who can't afford the programs that are sold in the internet. I too can't afford those prices but managed to save some money for 3 months or so, to buy Vertfreak 2.0. And I know it will work. By the way I got VJB for free, if anyone wants it you can mail me Wink.

welcome man!

ya Adam Linkenauger went downhill, i mean, after the first time he promoted squatflex we were like "uhhhhhhh", but you know, being good people, gave him a "second chance", not like he cares about second chances from us or whatever, but still.. he claimed he'd NEVER PROMOTE SQUATFLEX again, then he did... so that's the end of that.

ya don't offer programs etc on here, we don't allow that, no trading of copyright material.

thanks for the kind words about the site, hope VF goes well for you.

peace

 welcome

but, the truth is usually the smaller the Asian the more athletic they are.  the taller Asians usually are less coordinated and jump not as well as the smaller counter parts.  there are plenty of speedy little asian dudes and lot of them have mad hops.  i know this old school pinoy guy he's like 55 now.  he's my height 180cm/5'11" and back he the days he was on the Philippines National team and he could dunk.  that's not too shabby at all.

Thank you! Well the thing is, it is very rare for as asian or filipinos (this is only my observation) to have 6'2'' height or taller. And those who are, does not train well. I see it happen in my own univeristy. Our basketball team does not even follow any weight training program! They all have the stereotypical mind that having high vert jump is only acquired if you have the genes for it. That's why  I want to shatter that stereotype by training myself to have 45+ vert jump Cool. I'm not saying that genes does not play any factor, but you can't achieve your genetic potential if you don't train. Smiley

Well good luck, but for a 45+ you'll need to train 5 years or more I suppose without having major injury difficulties, with great nutrition and great training...
