Hello everyone !
whatsup man
I'm new to this forum and I see that you are willing to help guys like me to get their first dunk

I'm 16, my height is 1,85m, and I weight 73kg. I like very much playin' basketball and training for it.
Full squats: (maximum) 5 reps with 60kg (including the bar).
Now, I almost touch the rim.
The main problem is that using the vertical jump calculator, I shoud have a 32.6cm standing vertical jump, but in reality , when I'm under the basket and I jump on both legs, I nearly touch with my whole palm the backboard(just with one hand),so it's not a 32.6cm jump.
you're incorrect in saying "i SHOULD have" etc.. that calculator is not accurate for everyone, don't rely on it.. bottom line, get stronger, much stronger.. barbell squat will correlate to your vert "somehow", you will have your own unique calculator over time, but that calculator is not accurate for everyone.
I'm used to jump from one leg. I get very frustrated when I see other guys, ass tall as me, without working out jumping higher than me and touching the rim.
again that's another mistake, don't worry about how they train to jump how they do.. if you work your ass off you can easily eclipse them, meanwhile, they'll still train the same and probably go nowhere..
I would be very happy if you tell me what kind o training i should do to increase my leaping ability. If you wil ask, I will give you more detailes (maybe some videos) about my workout, how I jump , etc.
Waiting for your answers and c'ya later.

Thank's again,
JumpMan
PS: please tell me where I shoud continue discussing about this topic.
well, i'd start by filling out that 'free training' questionnaire, it'll give us more insight.. if you want help drop it in the progress journals section and we'll critique your workouts/give you advice.. without going into all that, it's obvious you need to get MUCH stronger, 60 x 5 on squat @ 70kg means you have alot of work to do in the strength department.
go get it
