Absorption is something most people don't take into account.

whey doesnt even reach peak absorption until about an hour after you ingest it. Take your whey right before lifting, and if you finish in an hour, you'll get the most of it that way (especially if you take some simple sugars peri-workout).
Dreyth, protein shake before workout? why not take sips during your wokrout? I mean not like you could dirnk a protein shake and not feel full when you go to the gym, unless you're take like a pussy amount right?

I wouldn't drink a protein shake before going to the gym unless I want it to come up my throat while squatting or doing other heavy stuff. No, thanks.

Anyways, i hear some people breakout from drnking protein shakes. I'm one of them, but I'm just wondering, whether one gets a breakout from drinking protein shake or not, is the acne bad? Is it harmful to your health? Or it only makes your skin looks more ugly?
