So I am 148lbs at about ~9-10% body fat.  If I trim off my body fat to a very lean Derrick Rose like 5%, would that have significant results, assuming I do so without losing muscle mass/strength?  If so, can you give me some sort of estimate on how much, like 1-2 inches?

my two cents

well it is weight that does not help you towards jumping. So, it's uneeded and weighs you down. Smiley that's all i know.

It's not as simple as that. Loosing 5% of your weight won't necessarily increase your vert by 5%. Having extra weight ain't going to help but I wouldn't hold out on a one or two inch gain if I was you. You might get it and you might not.
