This could be linked with Elenin which was classified as a "probable" comet. But apparently, it could something bigger like a brown dwarf. If that's the case, the gravity of that would be many times bigger and the effects on Earth would be catastrophic.

The Chile and Japan earthquakes (and other events) already coincided with Elenin, Sun and Earth being aligned.

I read a bit about NASA the other day, said they had an announcement/meeting for the 14th.

Basically, we're at a higher risk for solar flares(at least that's how I understand it), and the electrical systems on earth can get pretty fucked up if they're 'on' when we get hit. They're working on having an early warning type of system, but who knows what we're hearing and what's actually happening.

Actually, it appears the Sun might enter in a period of "no solar flares" anymore for about ~70 years.

Anyway, the problem with Elenin isn't if it's a comet, it's if it is a brown dwarf. That's basically a failed star and has huge gravity. It could do a bunch of stuff to us. If it's a comet we could enter it's debris field... and you know the rest of that story.
