Idk if anybody is a good artist, but i was looking for some help with my newest tattoo i plan to get. This is my basic idea
I have the basketball on my shoulder with the flames.
As you can see the flames carry on a little bit onto my back. What I want to do is bring the flames in even more, all the way across my back to my other shoulder. In the middle of my back i want a cross, so it will look somewhat like this
only i want the cross like this
now this is where the tattoo becomes more personal to me and my life. Instead of just a plan tattoo, i want the cross to be filled with things that have meaning in my life, and i want to put them in the cross in the same kind of way that Jordan put the print on their Air Jordan 20 shoe. like this
Jordan put a bunch of different things into the pattern design of the shoe that had significance to his life. This is what i want to put into the cross. So picture the cross filled with things like that, only with meaning to my life
Things i'd like to put in:
- something to represent my love for basketball
- the lines of a stock market chart, which is what i want to do as a career with my father
- the italian and Portuguese in color ( a lot of color in this tattoo)
- musical notes (my mom loves to sing and sings around the house non stop)
- a small paw print (for my chocolate lab mocha, my best friend=])
- the chinese symbols for determination,desire,and strength
- a lion head (my dad used to always tell me a story about a lion when i was little, about how the lion saved the town from some rapist guy or something haha)
- a lightning bolt (we call my younger brother dash, from the movie the incredibles cus hes a fast little fuck)
- a playing card (me and my grandpa always play cards, and i lmfao every time over some of the shit he says, when he passes it will be a great memory)
- a flower (my grandma loves her garden and is always in it)
- a small clover (GO CELTICS
)
- a $ sign ( i want to make enough $ in live to help as many poor people as possible, id like to put giant buildings where homeless people could come freely to at least be warm and eat
thats pretty much it right now. i know its a shit load of stuff to put into a tattoo. but it would deffinetly be special to me. I also would like the words to my favorite bible verse inside the flames, in really light color so its hard to see at first. its hard to describe but imagine printing out a paragraph or words, drawing flames on it, and then cutting the flame out.
if anybody has any ideas or is artistic, or has experience in large back tattoos, id love to know your thoughts
