Thought I would post this here because this is a huge achievement for me, 2+ years in the making. The rim outside is ~9'8. When I first started training for vert in late summer of 2008 I could not even touch the 9'8 rim, I was probably about 3-4 inches away. So now, over 2 years later, I have thrown down my first dunks on that rim so it is a huge deal to me. It seems surreal to me that I am less than 4 inches away from dunking on a 10' rim. Before I started training for vert I could only get about the top knot on the net. Vert for indoor session is probably about 33", outdoor session was at least 34" I would say, but not positive. Special thanks to adarq for all the help with training, wouldn't be getting up this high without him. Also thanks to everyone on here who has encouraged me. GO GET IT

Thanks everybody! I tried hangtiming those and shit was weird. I got 25 frames for first jump and 27 for second jump (outdoor dunks). I know there are a lot of variables there but 27 frames = .891 seconds = 38.25" LOL. Idk but I think I'm above 34 on those two so I'll call those pr's.

Haha you look so small... I have an observation though: try to extend your arms to your side and then rotate them and jump. Like, "open up" your jump. I think you could jump better with a few technique adjustments. Let me try and find a video of what I'm talking about... Look at Vince here: See how he "opens up" stretching his arms to the side more than back, and then rotating and jumping? I have personally found out my highest jumps come when I do that as well, it just "centers" all the power into the core/abs and down into the ground if you do it right.

Yes, in general I am short... and standing next to my friend who is 6'5 I look like an infant. But it makes dunking all the more special. It looks like he brings his arms out to the sides then down and up in like half of a loop. I'll mess around with it.

Yeah it makes a big difference if you do it right. I mean, I'm not a two footed jumper by any means, but once I started doing that I could just feel everything so much better in my jump.

You look so small in that video, it suprises me that you're actually the same height as me. Hoping to get to your level soon!
