Bench Press: 135lbs x10,8,6,4,2   (felt very easy, starting to feel stronger. 135 feels like a toy now. will try for same with 145lbs on Thursday.

Paused Bench Press: 2x5 w/135lbs.

Dumbbell Curl: 1x10 w/30lbs,  1x10 w/35lbs

Hammer Curl: 1x10 w/30lbs, 1x8 w/35lbs

bench press - worked up to a very easy 175lb. single which ties current PR. went, for 180, got half way up, friend ruined it by spotting it too soon, really think I could have had it.

Pull ups - 3x 7,6,5    PR i guess, never done pullups before.

rows - 2x8 @ 180

dumbbell curl - 2 x8,6 w/35lbs

* BENCHING PLAN TIL NOVEMBER 24th *

November 24th is judgement day for me. During the summer I set a goal to be able to do the following things by thanks giving day

- bench 185+
- dunk with two hands with ease
- dunk off 1 leg with ease
- do cool "trick" dunks
- be jacked

Currently I can dunk with two hands whenever I want, dunk off 1 leg easily, and can catch 2 hand dunks off the backboard. And I am as big as I ever have been in my life. So all I need to do is bench 185+ that morning to reach my goal. On 10/20/11 I hit my goal of 185lbs. New goal is 190-195lbs by thanks giving morning! Im also going to try some harder dunks like windmills, etc.


10/17/2011(happy 19th birthday)
- bench press: 115x8-10, 135x4-5, 145 x AF  (got 11, 2 rep PR)
- tricep rope pulldowns: 3x8



10/24/2011
- bench press: 115x5, 135x5,
- bench press: 145x5, 150x4, 160x3, 165x2, 170x1
- db bench: 3x5 @ 60lbs
- dips: 3x5-8



10/31/11
- bench: 115x8, 135x4, 145x2, 155x1
- bench: 160 for 5x2 (down slow, extremely explosive up)
- tricep rope pulldowns 3x5-8
- db bench: 3x5 @ 60 lbs


11/07/11
- bench press: 115x8, 135x4-5, 145x3-5
- bench press: 155x F


11/14/11
- bench press: 115x5, 135x5, 145x2, 155x2,
- bench press: 170x1, 175x1, 175x1, 175x1 (2-3 minutes rest between reps)
- db bench: 60 x F




11/20/11
- dynamic bench: 8x3 @ 115 lbs


11/24/11 JUDGEMENT DAY
- bench press: work up to a new max


- dunks: go for windmill off the lob, 360 off the dribble, reverse dunks

- jump snatches
- leg press
- plyos

need to make a clearer schedule, and start doing plyos religiously. as well as find the time to lift for my legs

bench press - worked up to a 10lb bench PR of 185lbs!! reached my goal that i set for myself to reach by thanks giving!! new goal will be 190-195lbs by Thanks Giving morning. real happy about this PR though. Probably started the summer with a PR of 155 hahha so about 30lbs added in the last 3 months or so, happy with that. 200 by christmas is also my newest goal.
