that means you need to practice slower, make sure every shot you take is the same exact way, focus of the form, forget range

no man, that is an old old myth that has been debunked over and over already by science.  If anything, lifting is only going to help you develop stronger muscles, bones, tendons, and joints, assuming you do it correctly.  The height myth comes from STEROID research, not weight training,  anabolic steroids can cause premature closing of the growth plates in athletes who are still maturing.  Dont worry about it man, people will repeat a lot of myths to you throughout your training career, take none of it seriously until you research it.

14.April Thursday 2011

Team Practice
100 3 pointers
50 free throws
40 midrange jumpers.
30 minutes ball handling.

15.April Friday 2011

Explosive Squats - Warmed up with 1x8 (80lbs), 1x8(100 lbs). Then I went 5x8(135lbs)
Explosive Calf Raises - Same with the squats
Hang Clean - 3x6(55 lbs) Man I am so weak on this.
Deadlift -  2x8(130 lbs) I always get headache and I feel dizzy and so on when I am doing deadlifts so I did only 2 sets .
In Place Lunges - 3x6 per leg (78 lbs)
30 Minutes 1on1.

I did only so less bcoz I had to be on the scores tables on a game and put points , fouls etc and made some money. Tough times right now.

Dnt know Man I havent heard of that till now. I hope that really helps me bcoz I have to dunk in 40 days and I am like 1inch or 2 inches away from dunking consistently. I made a bet with my friends that by the end of a schoolyear I will be dunking on a lower rim what is in our gym. It is litter lower than 9 feet I think .
