so i rested the whole week... coz i was sick as hell man!

that was like super flu... fever... cough... colds... mucus... it was nasty...


so my body is kinda recovered... and i will hit the weightroom.... in a while...




i just want to achieve my goals man.... i dont care what them haters say... people say...



i can seriously waste my time chasing girls instead of improving my basketball performance, skills, and vert! LOL.


thats what everybody wants me to do! lol.



back to serious work.... body is recovering and healing... i hate getting sick man...

body is feeling great now... i played like 1 pick up game a while ago... stamina is crap! lol.


i hate setbacks... but just have to push through...


just have to play myself to shape again...


and bust my ass in the weightroom...

so here it goes...


1 week of intense basketball... legit league competition...

1 week holidays... gym closed... so just basketball everyday.... pick up games... and skill work...

1 week of gettin sick as hell... colds and flu, asthma like cough, mucus ...  no gym... i cant breath and everything... lungs just cant take it.... just rest and recovery....



I just hate set backs man... you work hard for months... then it all goes down within a few weeks...


just alot of reasons, health.... family... everything man....


good thing... no injuries...



so i didnt lift for two weeks!


i was just so sad a while ago... my strength and power just went down...  and i have to rebuild again....


and try outs are getting nearer and nearer...


but i just said to myself...  i still must continue and not quit... and just give it my all....


and i just wanted to say sorry for letting you guys down... especially to sir lance... coz i was almost there... then im a beginner again!



just wanted to get that off my chest...


enough of this drama bullshit....


these are my numbers.... and i am not ashamed...  i am accountable...  and i will do everything to get them back and i wont quit....





day 1


dynamic warm up + standing single leg iso hold   


jump snatch-   4 x 3   (110 lbs) 


full squat-  5 x 5  (160 lbs)


RDL- 3 sets of 7 reps,  ( 110 lbs)


Standing calf raise- 3 sets of 15 reps   


push press - (135 lbs) 5 x 5


chin ups-  15 total end of workout


Barbell rollout- 2 sets 15 reps,  had a hard time with these man!


i lost alot of strength and power!


i just feel so weak and my stamina dropped also... had hard time breathing also...



just have to use this as motivation.... to do my best... and to bounce back...

My man, those squat numbers are honestly very weak.

I don't think at all those are ur true numbers now though, if u've been ballin, and just playing sports for a week, getting some activity in. Probably just the sickness still not fully recovered. Flu takes a shitload outta te body, whole body just feels weak as fuck.

vert is still the same though... still grab the rim with one hand... 


played a while ago... athleticism is still the same...



gonna hit the weightroom today or tomorrrow maybe...  i will see my strength and power...


that flu really hit me bad... it was serious...



these numbers will come back up...

ankle sprain... first in the game... second in playing one on one...  in just one week!


always on the crossover!  dammit!  my right ankle is crazy injury prone...  instead of the defender gettin that ankle breaker... its me!


i really need to rebuild my body man...

its my strength... and my plyometric / reactive ability...


coz ive been inconsistent with weightroom work, plyos, and max effort jumping...


all i did was play ball!  i paid the price!


its all good... ankle is healing up... and back to business...

i trained yesterday... gym was about to close... just a quick workout...


tried my hang clean.... 1RM...   singles...   

got up to 160 lbs...

i just couldn't catch 170 lbs... will get it next time...


 

then 5 x 5 box squats...   with 225 lbs...   







TO ACHIEVE ALL YOUR GOALS... to being a beast / freak / athlete.
 

gotta get very very strong relative to your bodyweight

got to improve fitness/work capacity,

got to eat good/maintain a decent body composition specific to your goals,

got to incorporate reactive/rebounding progressions,

got to sprint/jump/play sport,

and definitely you've got to never quit+keep pushing..

that's all there is really.





one step at a time: GOALS

1. 405 lbs box squat x 3  ~<1 sec
2. Hang/ Jump Snatch 160 lbs                     
3. bw push press
4. 12 dead hang pull ups
5. get more leaner... drop more body fat!

Bottom's up DB clean & press 3x6-8
-light


Jump Snatch 6x1  (140 lbs)  next target is 150 / 160 lbs


Clean & jerk 3-2-1..  got up to... (150 lbs,) i cant jerk 160 lbs man! dammit! but i can clean it!


Box Squat 5 x 5 (230 lbs) 1 inch above parallel ...   




numbers gettin back...


watch out....




- i just have 1 muscle imbalance! my right ankle! lol. but once i build it back up... its over!
