09.27.11

Rather monotonous day overall. I played some 21. i lost but i had a lot of fun and played pretty good. It was a bunch of scrubs though. I kind of want to play basketball for the school this year. I am good enough but idk if i want to really commit to all that.

Eating wise: I ate some grilled chicken, an apple and broccoli at lunch to break fast. I fucked up though. I ate a whole jar of nutella for a bet at 3:00. I think i just wont eat until lunch or breakfast tomorrow so i can kind offset that.

51 Chinups: 101/5000 (2,4,3,4,5,6,7,6,5,4,3,1)

I am going to start doing an experiment i read from a T-Nation article.
http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/most_recent/13064_pullups_in_5_months
My goal is to get 20 chinups easily and eventually a one arm chinup. I wouldnt mind getting a bigger back.
I will do chinups daily adding a 1 rep to my total reps until i get 110. I did 50 yesterday. Today I did 51. Tomorrow i will do 52. Once i get to the day where i do 112 reps. I will have done over 5000 chinups. This might effect my bench, pressing, DL, and rdl for a little bit, but i think i will eventually adapt. i am going to this Monday through Saturday and rest on Sunday. Kind of like how farmers work Monday through Saturday. THis can be like my farm work. Lol

I wanna do this out of pure curiosity and as an extra personal challenge.

09/28/11

Rather hectic schedule up to next friday. Midterms for 6 classes next week. Calculus test on Wednesday. Derivatives test on Monday. Anatomy test on Monday. Spanish Project next week. Im not too worried about much. The anatomy, spanish, and other classes will be easy. Just maybe 5 total hours of studying. Calculus I will have to learn two months worth of material. I will get on it though. Grades are steadily rising.

The only downfall to this workload is the 4-6 hours of sleep i get. It is not beneficial for trainning but i would rather have two weeks of subpar training than screwing up grades.

Before School:
52 chinups  (153/5000)

Weight Room
Bench: 95x8, 105x5, 115x3, 120x8, 120x5, 120x5
Cleans: 95x3, 115x3, 135x3, 135x2, 135x1, 135x1, 135x1

Track
I did about 9-10 30-40 yard sprints. I timed myself. It wasnt really accurate, but it got me to push myself and compete. My best time was 4.36.

Chinups: 53 (206/5000)

Played Basketball. They were just scrubs, but i killed it.

Sleep was terrible. SLept from 11:30 to 2:00 AM. Took a nap in 3rd period but the teacher kept waking me up even though i was a week ahead in that frickin class. pissed Im taking a nap once i get home and then 8 hours of deep slumber.

Nutrition was straight. Ate some green beans, an apple, and some chicken nuggets. I ate a cookie and someone gave me a spoonful of ice cream.

Not the best day. Found out the Crucible essay i thought i did so good on was apparently terrible.  pissed I woke up at 2 in the morning to study for calculus. I took the quiz and ended up forgetting one fricking formula on a 3 question quiz so i only got 1 right.  pissed pissed

Anatomy and Calculus are gonna be a big deal in the next week.

studying at the moment. Went out on friday night. Had some fun. I ate pretty bad on friday morning but i fixed that by afternoon.
Sleep was like 3 hours or whatever.

Weight ROom: i had an off day
Squat: 100x5, 125x5, 150x4, 185x3, 205x2, 220x6.5, 220x6
DL: 135x5, 185x5, 205x2, 225x5

People were squatting in the weight room because we have midterm maxing next week and stuff. I snuck to the girls weight room. Their bar was on pins to high for me so i would have to do a calf raise to get it on and off. It got tiresome. Plus There
was a mirror in front of the rack that disturbed me. Felt weird. But i have noticed that i have gained a little bit more muscle. Smiley

I will do 220 again on Monday. I dont feel i mastered the weight. IT was forced.

Home at 11 after the game:
Chinups: 54 (260/5000)
Press: 45x5, 55x5, 65x4, 70x3, 80x8, 80x8, 80x9

Press felt great. I didnt grind the weight and on the last set i think i could gotten at least 10.

edit: after pressing, i did some calf work with 2 25 lb Dumbbells

The three tests on monday were good. I got a 96 on one. I have a feeling i got a 90 or 100 on the math one. I got a 85-95 on the anatomy one. Hard test in math on wednesday with some derivatives but mostly application type shit i dont understand. Hopefully after this test i will be able to drop down to Calculus AB since i struggle so much.
