Dude your squat numbers don't seem all that low from what I can see! Not all that far from 2x body weight on front squat That's nuts dude. I can only just 2xBW back squat!

Jeez....your upperbody/core must be beastly dude...140kg x 1 after doing all those other reps is only 20kg off 160 which is near enough to 2x your bodyweight...I know 20kg is a pretty big jump...but you could make that improvement in 2-3 months I'd guess...

Some of my upper body and core is strong enough. Some not. I need more work on lower abs and lower back. I had to work to keep my back locked for the RDLs at the end of my last workout. None of the olympic movements really put your back all that horizontal to the floor for any length of time.

For lower abs, nothing I've found has hit them harder than leg lowers, Kellyb style. Lie on your back, feet up in the air with knees slightly bet, back completely flat against the ground. Lower legs, maintaining completely flat back, until back begins to arch, then bring legs back up. Repeat. Murderous. Also, if you're at 20% bf, why not try to cut and compete in a lower weight class? If you're 86kg at 20%, you could cut to 10-12% and, with minimal LBM loss, compete at 77kg.

Hey. I'm actually more like 88kg at 20% bodyfat While possible, going down to 77kg doesn't work with my long term goals of putting up serious numbers. I'm aiming to gradually reduce my bodyfat by cleaning up my diet while getting strong as hell. Goals for 2011 are: 120kg snatch 140kg clean and jerk 175kg front squat 205kg back squat

Yeah they're big but if you look at them in terms of the squats it's not that insane: Current > Goal Front squat: 140 > 175 Back squat: 170 > 205 Snatch and clean and jerk should come along with a little more efficiency and more strength in the pull.

Hehe thanks. Yeah 140kg is 308lbs. Americans understand it better if you round it up to the imperial equivilent of 3 20kg plates though which is 3 45lb plates. I'm pretty toasted now though. Minor soreness all over. My VMO's are totally shot too. Glutes took a beating. You're probably leaner than me right now!

It's seven pounds. That's a bit over three kilos, for you metric-using folks.

And how many people instantly think of 3 plates each side when you say 308lbs? Standard gym plate tolerances are +-5 to 8% anyway ( hopefully it averages to 0 accross multiple plates) so there's no point quibbling about 2.3% metric to imprerial convenience rounding.

I'll be honest, I'd think of two plates and a 35 if I saw 308 just because its closer to 305 than 315. But its still close enough that I'll just assume 140kg is 315 in the future.
