Dude, how can you do 20 plus pull ups and can only do 20 pushups?  That's baffeling to me cause I'm the exact opposite.  I can do pushups for days and struggle to get 10 pullups.

Anyhow, do you just like pulling exercises better than pushing?  Seems like in your journal you are focusing heavily on pulling.

I don't know man! My chest is just weak! I just do what feels good on any given day but I will be focusing a bit more on the pressing muscles as one of my friends whose a man child in his own rights will be working out with me a bit.

Have you been thinking about the possibility that being good at a specific movement influences your willingness to perform it and consequently disrupts your ROM baseline test? I've been wondering that myself, as I have been experiencing similar patterns in my training since starting to implement gym mvmt protocols.

No because I've had grip work, shrugs, sumo deadlifts, and bench all test well all of them I'm not particularly good at. Shrugs tested amazingly well for me all last year before sports started and now after sitting in a chair at school the last 6 months they haven't tested well more than twice since.

If anything its more influences what you will test each day, but I try to test a variety of movements every day and am always searching for one that will give me a huge rom increase to start my work out with.

Keeping it easy, deadlifts are making great progress and I've been trying to work the pressing muscles more. Hopefully I see more of an upward trend with weight gain.
