Im so frustrated. I think i am working hard but i see no results Cry.

get used to it, it's not ez..

no matter what you do in practice, it's all on you in the games.

have to shoot alot more jumpers from that distance + general upper and lower strength.. plenty of "weak" people have insane range on their jumpers, it comes down mostly to technique + repetition, that's it.. there's no special exercises to improve range other than:

- practicing thousands of shots at that range
- improving general upper (including wrist/forearm) & lower body strength.

Well, good luck in your game man.  If I could throw in my 2 cents, I would chill out about being one type of player or the either.  As you grow and get stronger, your style will change.  When I was your age, I was a dribbler and slasher.  In high school I was still a good driver but developed enough strength to be a good pull up shooter.  In college, I got stronger and started getting really physical and making contact/drawing fouls and finishing at the rim.  Don't sweat it, you'll change with your body. 

I'd say work hard on everything and take advantage of the other teams weaknesses.  If they give you the shot, TAKE IT!  If they give you the lane, TAKE IT!  A man has a better position for an easy bucket, GET HIM THE BALL!

I really like that new shot. today in our team practise we did some shots  and i shot 100/67 from 3point land , nothing special but atleast my own  wiiiii:D

good job man!! now stick with that form and make it 'automatic', perfect every time.

that's a great percentage.

had 4 games today. the playing time was only 2x7 minutes so yea. it was somekind of a tournament. my best game was 22 points . 17 points in the first 7 minutes ( first quarter) . had only 5 points in the second quarter bcoz i was pretty tired and then we already basically had the win so i started passing more. on that game i hit 5 threes in a row and those were all hand in face and like 1-2 foot behind the regular three point line. and i dont mean that i went 5/5. those threes were conseuctive possessions. first i hit a three and our team got the rebound and then i hit another one and so on.

Dang man.  That's a lot of shooting in only a few minutes.  What was the final score (just curious)?  Why did you get so little playing time, were yall just blowing people out?  What grade are you in, BTW?

im in 7th grade 13 years old. no man there was a tournament and everygame was only 2x7. and coach wanted me to shoot alot bcoz i was on very shitty team. my teammates couldnt even make fastbreak layups. so the ball was in my hand always and the finall score was 25 when i scored 22
lol dude a month ago I was 14 years old and 10th grade...whats going on?

Adarq  and Lance. My knees have been hurting for a week now like hell. I usually had just that in warm up and when i am warmed up I dont feel the pain anymore. But saturday was the first day when they hurt like hell throughout the whole training session. i couldnt run at fullspeed and if i would jumped i would get like 10 inches . Today when I went to squat posisiton they both hurt as hell and also when I have been sitting for like a 15-20 minutes and then try to go play then its unreal , basically the first seconds i cant even run at all and when i am shooting a jump shot then they also hurt . I never had any knee problems before. I hope that isnt something serious.

sounds like some tendonitis or a growing issue (osgood schlatter) might be kicking in.. would be best to get it checked out, but if you can't get it checked out, ice, ice, ice, ice, and more ice.

yeaaaaaaah . I am close to making the U14 national basketball team. I am going to the camp and the sixty is selected then they are going to cut from 60 to 30 then to 16 and then to 12 and those 12 are gonna make the team. I must make the top 12  , I must !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! headbang

damn, hope you get on it, do your thing, don't hesitate, be confident, and always keep it positive no matter how things are going..
