you need pulls to go with your pushes for upper body. pull ups, chin ups, rows, pull downs.

as a basketball player I suggest you do to ballhandling/shooting everyday. If u cant do both then atleast to ballhandling everday.the most important skill for guards.

i just can't play basketball after workout , im too tired . and at tuesday , wednesday , and friday , i practice a little with my team mates at the gym , so i think is ok .
im shooting guard , and i think the most important thing in that position , is shooting . look at ray allen , he isn't a perfect dribbler , but he is a perfect shooter .

I CALL COMPLETE BULL SHIT ON THAT. A two guard that can't handle the ball is useless unless all you do is just shoot like a Korver and even then you have to be hitting 90-95 % from 3 in practice alone so that you can hit 50 % in games. All you though.

agreed.to dunreal:look up ray allen on his bucks and sonics days. he did handle the ball. in celtics hes role is run off screens and shoot. if u are a perfect shooter with no handles how you gonna get yourself open? shooters are average. Kyle Korver is one of the best shooters in the nba right now. is he an all star? no. because he isnt an allaround player, cant create for himself, cant create for others.if u are too tired then do your skill workout before your weightlifting. and ballhandling drills. you basically just have to walk or stand you dont need to run so yea.

i never said that dribbling isn't important , i said that in my position shooting is more important . if you get yourself open , but you can't shoot , what's the point ? If you are a good shooter , you only need to create a little bit of space to make the shoot .

did I say practice only ball handling? 1) if you are gonna go to the next lever then you need much more than a little bit of space and even thats hard to make against good defenders 2)sometimes your shooting isnt there when you play , but your ballhandling will be always there and then u can still attack the rim.

my dribbling is much better than my shooting . in practice , i hit 7 on 10 freethrows , and in game a miss a lot too , fuck*ng terrible shooting ,  but i can easily crossover a guy in a game . so , that's why i need better shooting . because is the combination of dribbling + shooting that makes incredible players !
