I'm going really near the 5 page barrier omg! If I post actively in this journal, I'd like to stay in the graveyard since I just really need a place to go to and post stats about myself.

P.S. it's easier to find my journal in here. /edit

It seems like what the 4 hour body really did was made me gain weight in the 30 minutes after completing it and made my stats look like this:

50m - 6.78 / 6.86s
150m - 21.x / 22.x
250m - 39.2 / 41.2

all done in these bad boys,

How the hell can you stand to run in those things?

Welll.... Wink Let's just say I didn't until I got so lazy of switching to my holed up running shoes from Costco, I just didn't care anymore and decided to break into them. Hey, if 90% of kids can do it, I can too!

Lemme, get an image of what I usually run/walk in these days...

The day I put that picture up, I already got new shoes (picture above) lol. It's really hard to find shoes that feel right and fit me seeing I have wide feet, something like 5E in shoe size.. I forget. The lady at this shoe store that specializes say they don't have spikes my size lol.. oh well. It seems like I have to go up two sizes more than the length of my foot to fit in a "standard" shoe. Also, I told one of my friends to get waffle racers.. damn they're small.

P.S. Darn, I couldn't be the first one to have a post on the 5th page, maybe on my 10th I will be!

Re-Entry #4

Sleep Schedule: (How many hours of sleep I woke up w/ that day. Time slept was on the day before.)
2/22/11 - 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM ~ 2 Hours
2/23/11 - 8:00 PM - 1:00 AM ~ 5 Hours + 6:00 AM - 7:00 Nap ~ 1 Hours = ~ 6 Hours
2/24/11 - 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM ~8 1/2 Hours
2/25/11 - 10:00 - 7:00 AM ~ 9 Hours
2/26/11 - 3:00 AM - 11:00 AM ~ 8 hours
2/27/11 - 8:00 PM - 9:00 AM ~ 13 hours.. wtf.
2/28/11 - 3:30 - 7:30 AM ~ 4 hours, what I get for oversleep.
7-Day Average: 7.2 hours, nooo!
Total: 50.5 hours

3/1/11 - 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Nap. 1:00 AM - 7:00 AM Sleep. = ~9 hours in total
3/2/11 - 11:30 PM - 7:00 AM = ~7.5 hours
3/3/11 - 1:00 AM - 7:00 AM = 6 Hours + napping in class lol.
3/4/11 - 1:00 AM - 7:00 = 6 Hours, haha same thing as yesterday. sorta* compensated w/ napping.
3/5/11 - 3:00 AM - 12:00 PM = ~9 Hour
3/6/11 - 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM + 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM = ~8 Hours

Track Practice:
+2/22/11 - Sprints
+2/24/11 - Meet!
+2/28/11 - Long Jumps
+3/1/11 - Sprints:
(Pre-Warm Ups, Wall/Fence Drill, 1 Max-Sprint on the turn, Walked a straight, and a sub-effort one on the next turn. )
2x10 Running up a hill, down stairs. 400m walk for recovery.
Ankles are aching, did some weird hill runs and what wasn't painful was that.. it was walking down the stairs at such a fast pace.
Not sure why they feel so.. unstable? Not quite sure that's the correct word here.

Did one sprint to practice off the block, gotta go find something that teaches me how to do those, then practice.

Additional Comments:
If I could find a proper scale that weighted me, I would add it.

not trolling, but 13.7, didn't u say u ran a 4.5 earlier this year??

Yeah, huh, no like when I PR'd like 2 years ago I believe. DW, I've come to realize my mind will play tricks on me to motivate me to go to a higher level which I've never attained. Like I used to think I had a 30" vertical, so I always trained to "get back" there. I actually am not sure, it was timed by a friend at a football field.

On to that subject, of my 13.7 lol, it was raining, cold and I was standing on wet bleachers for 3 hours, with only like my 2nd time ever using blocks.. hey, I guess I'm not Usain Bolt. My mindset wasn't right.. didn't do stretches enough, and I tried to do some Frank Yang "seisure hops" but I got embarassed. So I opted for a Casey Combest-esque sort of tuck jump. But excuses are excuses, eh. I'll see how it goes when I run an automatic-timed. I've been too content lazing off, people tell me feeling competitive is dumb.. I think it's going to just obscure my progress to getting better.

EDIT: lol, earlier this year.. haha, I thought I quit journaling before the year ended. okay I'd like to cross all my old claims, videos/pics or it didn't happen is my mindset to achieve my goal this time. Unless you see some insanely high times, you just think, "oh yeah that sounds true."

+ some small stuff for me to add
Track Practice:
+2/22/11 - Sprints
+2/24/11 - Meet!
+2/28/11 - Long Jumps
+3/1/11 - Sprints:
+3/3/11 - Long Jumps (independant)
- a like 10 secwarm-up, went to the sand pit alone afterschool, to get some technique jumping in. Meh, tried a carl lewis approach/martial art kick/adding in a penultimate step/etc. haha, well let's just say I need more work.

I'm hoping to do more sprints for fun, I'm not really caring about the alternate days think I used to do.. just going to train when I want to, wherever and what time I want to Cheesy

+2/24/11 - Meet!
+2/28/11 - Long Jumps
+3/1/11 - Sprints:
+3/3/11 - Long Jumps (independant)
+3/8/11 -
Coach wasn't here, so we just did our own little thing in the sprint group I'm in. Dynamic Stretches/Ran/whatever.
Ran up a hill 20 times, I remember hearing a comment on here that it ruins biomechanics.. meh I'm not worried.
Then we went to the blocks, I went and ran as many as I could in a row, which was about like 10. I really think blocks kill'd off my speed, I don't feel comfortable and can't get a good push off them at all. Just have to practice I get.

Sleep Schedule: (How many hours of sleep I woke up w/ that day. Time slept was on the day before.)
2/22/11 - 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM ~ 2 Hours

3/7/11 - 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM = 2 Hours, really bad night. Got distracted in making something, I always do, especially at night.
7-Day Average: 6.8 hours, rounded up. ; not looking good.. I'm feeling good at least. I've been growing too, weird.
Total hours: 47.5 hours, at least

3/8/11 - 12:00 AM - 7:00 AM = ~7 Hours ; not exactly at 7, but sorta.

+3/10/11 - Practice Meet (Individual Grades, Freshman vs Seniors vs Sophmore vs Juniors)
- Let's see.. well I'm improving more, but I know I got more in me. I just know. My times will be put somewhere later.
I did, 110 Hurdles (terrible, just terrible technique lol.), 100m, and Long Jump.
Right after I did the hurdles, I had to do 100m like 5 minutes later.. I just wanted to throw up literally. Then like 30 minutes or so later, I went up to the Long Jump feeling like crap.. but after that first jump I don't know why, but I felt great! It's got to do with something with the wind just flashing through and the breeze that I feel when I go jump. I scratched off like 3 times and just ended up for some incredibly half-assed 13 feet jump cause I didn't even accelerate through.

Terrible, *sigh* just terrible lol. I went to track practice, guess it was an off-day.. did like nothing. Then I started pouring, I was feeling ridiculous running up a hill when it was wet.

Didn't get in, oh well. Got a meet tomorrow against another school. I wonder how you should prepare for those. My PR was attained when I was feeling jacked up from not going to sleep and being on the edge.. pretty sure you're not supposed to do that.

Didn't feel like bumping this topic, too much to remember :S

Track Practice:
+2/22/11 - Sprints
+2/24/11 - Meet!
+2/28/11 - Long Jumps
+3/1/11 - Sprints:
+3/3/11 - Long Jumps (independant)
+3/8/11 - Sprints
+3/10/11 - Practice Meet (Individual Grades, Freshman vs Seniors vs Sophmore vs Juniors)
+3/15/11 - Birthday Sprints
+3/16/11 - Pictures
+3/?/11 - Sprints, then Lazy.
It all happened over a course of time, but I got sick... got caught up in finals. Ended up doing nothing, procrastination is always sooo helpful to my goals. I just wasn't into it.. went to a meet, did terrible. I can't trust their timing system, it's not very good. I guess I'll just have to make it to state and get electronically timed or w/e.
+3/30/11
I came to one of the track practices, instead of just doing sprints at home. Did some weird cycle
*2x100m sprints off blocks on the curve
 *2x60m sprints straight
 ~Water Break
 *Core (2x15 V-Ups, 2x15 Partner-Press Down, 2x30s Planks)
 *Jumpropes (Low, volume 3x30-50 jumps)
*2x20 yard 35 lbs. sled sprints
*2x20 Medicine Ball Pass (One set was overhead throws, one set was just pushing.. not sure what it really helps)
+3/31/11
 *10x20m Sprints
 * 2x100m - Tempo; ~70%/80%
 *Tag
+4/1/11
*Random sprints jump, sorta like 4-6x8 Tuck Jumps
*Some double-leg bonuds, single leg bounds, ankle hops
*Rim Touches, messing around.. trying to dunk on low-rims
*Sprints, varieting starts (straight-legged, 3 point stance, Track and Field stance, falling stance)
  -Some were 100m, 60m, 40 yd. I don't know, I did a bunch and I feel only a bit of my ankles/calves being sore..

Spring Break's a blur.. and also was incredibly boring. Man, such a bad foreshadowing for this summer.

4/12/11: Sprints
I did warm-ups, blah blah as usual for track. Went to blocks when I guess I wasn't stretched enough I guess? Not sure, but afterwards doing sprints from blocks 4x40m, I went on to walk a lap.. then in the middle of it my right tendon just seizes and contracts my leg so it's constantly plantar flexed. I thought it was just some calve cramp, so I tried putting some weight on it, but as soon as it touched the ground it just returned flexing.. It hurt like hell. Did some research and I guess it's an achilles tendon rupture.

Anyways.. 4x40m. Yeaaaah, don't know what to do about my tendon. It's really annoying having these stupid injuries, I've never had these problems with this before.. >.> I still can walk, so I guess I won't go to the doctors.

I guess I didn't get a tendon rupture, I can run fine.. so I went to track practice. Still I'm being careful. I'd say, I've been pretty unsucessful, expected. I have been focused on other sutff :/

Typical dynamic warm-up for about 15 minutes.
I did:
1 set of 4x200m (tempo)
5 minutes - feeling.. okay, but worse than what I really am
1 set of 3x200m (tempo)
Nauseous, even now..
got home, stretched.

Meet, I think I did.. best I've done this year even though, as always I could've probably done a WHOLE lot better. My focus these days just aren't too much on being better at jumping and running..
Long Jump: 15" 6' 3/4... lol, I could've done better. Will work on technique so I get like 20 feet or something. maybe.
100m: ~13.1? I don't know my friend got 12.9 and he was like a couple inches in front.

4/19/11 - 5:00 AM - 7:30 AM = 2.5 hours
4/20/11 - 3:00 AM - 7:30 AM = 4.5 hours
4/21/11 - 12:00 AM - 7:30 AM = 7.5 hours
4/22/11 - 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM = 11 hours
4/23/11 - 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM = 8 hours
4/24/11 - 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM = 9 hours
4/25/11 - 5:00 AM - 7:30 AM = 2.5 hours
4/26/11 - 12:00 AM - 9:00 AM = 9 hours
4/27/11 - 3:00 AM - 10:00 AM 7 hours
4/28/11 - 3:00 AM - 7:00 AM = 4 hours

oh hai there! somewhere along the way, I realized this is very time-consuming (no rly). Track's over, I will be bored this summer. I will be having a new goal this summer. That is to run fast and jump high, then go to the beach. Who knows what's going to happen. Okay g'night. Measuring all my vert, all the exact measurements and stuff.. meh I am going to keep it simple. I'm going to jump and stuff. yeah.
