FRANCE!

Man o man what a match. Belgium had some great opportunities. Definitely think they should have gotten a few more calls, specifically on Hazard. He definitely got fouled on a few of those shots outside of the box. Bad no calls.

France missed golden opportunities though. This game could have "easily" been 3-1 FRA. Giroud will get his goal in the final, he's playing too well not to.

FRA FRA FRA!

Hoping for FRA/CRO!

+1 great match, they were so equally talented but france/belgium was like an attacker vs counter attacker, france were just too good, belgium had alot of chances but there were also so many missed calls by the ref.

I used to like mbape but I hated those antics of his such as when it was belgium's free kick or throw in I don't remember he takes the ball away and starts to run away with it as he knows yellow card wouldn't do much for him.

Im hoping for England vs France FINAL.

ya Mbappe's antics sucked yesterday, didn't like that at all - the way he was stalling. He needs to chill w/ that garbage.

aside from that, man he had some incredible passes & ball handling..

I know seifullaah isn't too happy, i'm def happy for CRO tho.

They had a very hard road to get to the finals.. well deserved.

Don't think they will be able to defeat France but who knows.. I'm hoping for FRA tho :D My dad & dad's side of the family is from France so, always rooted for them. leggo!!

Aww man. I am finding it hard to be happy for croatia, but it seems to be the same old problem with poor calls and no calls when a call was supposed to be made. annoying. Croatia play well against some and do badly against others. But their aggression is their strength.

England's idle walking that caused their second goal against them by croatia 2 defenders only reacting once mandzukic was one on one with the goal keeper.

England will play Belgium for third place, don't know how good that position is in the world cup lol.

France vs Croatia, I am 70% sure that France will beat them easily. I would be happy if croatia win their first world cup.

Hard to enjoy a match when you are rooting for one side, so you don't see the skills of the other side.

But england made it to the semi finals is a good thing I guess, which the last time was 20 years ago.

ENG: 1 shot on goal....

c'mon now. :/

Not sure about the missed calls, but it seems CRO dominated the match.

FRA/CRO going to be sick.

ENG/BEL going to be good also.. playing for 3rd should matter. I'll root for ENG on that one :D

england got outplayed and deserved to lose. they just didn't seem to have the skill to keep the ball up high, passing the ball to pickford so much that it got ridiculous. when they did get the ball toward the box they just couldn't seem to make any kind of meaningful connections. bad movement or something, i don't know. it wasn't very fun to watch.

i was watching in the british high commission bar with a bunch of english diplomats, a few pakistanis, and few scots and welsh who were quietly rooting for england to lose. place got real quiet as the second half and extra time wore on.

Lol, thanks. The more support the better. But it's like a match for the bronze medal.

It will be England vs Belgium, so this match is a rematch to show if England can beat belgium. And also England get to play again. It's like a mini final.

i was watching in the british high commission bar with a bunch of english diplomats, a few pakistanis, and few scots and welsh who were quietly rooting for england to lose. place got real quiet as the second half and extra time wore on.

They were better than the previous england squad, but I don't see much dynamic play from England or dynamic passing. They need to build that relation with each other so they can understand when their team runs what they are asking like a 1-2 pass or quick passes to move the ball forward. They got this far because they got the better end of the deal facing sweden and columbia and if they had faced brazil they would have lost.

Their hopes were raised when they got far facing lower quality opponents but once you reach towards the end, competition increases so their chances becomes low.

England becomes lazy when they keep on passing the ball back to the goal keeper and the opponent comes close and they almost conceded another goal but it hit the post.

It's like watching amir khan fight a top power puncher people are hoping he wins but in the back of their mind there is a chance of being knocked out.

So people they watch england play and hope they get through, once they scored that goal in the 5th minute, everybody is hoping the clock runs down quick before other scores because that is innevitable, so england changed to defending until when croatia scored they couldn't change their game plan, while croatia decided keep on the aggressive.

Yea LBSS said it perfect, they were just outclassed. It's a young team and a young manager. It seemed like they just didn't want to make mistakes (hence passing back to Pickford) when they were pressed. If they could've connected on a few passes through the midfield they could've used their advantage in speed and athleticism to catch Croatia on a quick counter. I mean one shot on goal says it all. Also, Harry Kane looked beat down, he just wasn't his normal confident, technical, and strong self. I've never seen him go down on slight contact like that, I think it was just a sign he was worn out. Had he scored on the one opportunity to put England up 2-0, VAR would've overturned the offside and it would've been a different game.

On another note, Luka Modric is amazing, like beyond belief. He needs to win best player for the World Cup and Ballon d or since he won the Champions League with Real Madrid. He's controlled 3 games that went 120 minutes, how nuts is that. I've never seen a player like that, running all over the place then connected on nearly every pass perfectly with either foot and all parts of his foot. Usually teams have a midfielder who runs all over and makes tackles and another who keeps his legs fresher to make accurate decisive passes. He does both consistently and itsss absolutely nuts.

dier almost scored but defender kicked it away. Belgium score 2-0. Just humiliating for England.

This is exposing England's real ability.

Also a side note, the people in the final are the only ones to defeat argentina no one else has defeated argentina.
