The title pretty much says it all. I had jumper's knee and it lasted for almost 2 years, then the pain gradually disappeared. Now my knee hurts like the same kind of pain i had when i had jumper's knee. I don't know what's up with that. ALSO: my ankle hurts after effort every single fucking time. any tips?

There may be lots of different thing.

it could be due to ankle mobility as you have pain in the ankle
hip mobility
quad maybe dominant so it is probably doing the job the glutes is supposed to be doing so quads are overloaded.
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

Well it doesn't happen all the time. But sometimes it just clicks or maybe cracks. sometimes during training other times not.

You mean is it painful when it clicks? Not really. It doesn't really hurt during training. But sometimes it would just hurt for a whole day.

Weird thing is it's my right knee that clicks most of the time. But my left knee is the one that hurts most of the time.

sounds pretty complicated, try to ice after basketball/training session for a while see if it helps, it usually does, i'm just lazy and forget to ice
