Eh, you're getting closer to the truth. Did you really really extended your hand, like really pulling the arm out of the scapula/shoulder socket? (not literally, but you get the idea)

I guess you'd be good to fool NFL reach measurements though :P

No I didn't do it the way you describe it. You described it much better from what I read yesterday. So after doing it that way(really extending my hand) I got a measurement of 101". THANKS RAPTOR.

Oh no, I'm not trying to fool anyone. I already said I made a mistake in the above post. I joined here to learn and get advice. Everybody questioned my reach so I remeasured it to give more accurate stats. You guys were right I was wrong.

101 vs 97 = big difference.

256 cm reach is about right for your height. Nightfly here is 6'5 and has a reach of 253cm, or 100 inches.

Anyway, you need ~28-30 inches to dunk cleanly, if you have big hands you're most likely on the 28 inch side of that spectrum, if you can't palm the ball you're on the 30-32 inch side of it.

no offense was intended, for the record. we were just super confused. plus you should be thankful, means just that many fewer inches you need to dunk it again.  :highfive:

dropping those extra pounds would get you, if not most of the way, then at least a big chunk of the way there.
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

Cool^^^

IMO it shouldn't take long to get where you want to get considering that you don't need to jump that high to dunk and being tall with long levers tends to amplify whatever strength you have.
