Hello everyone !! :)
My name is Ruben and I play basketball. I have 15 years, my height is 1.84 cm, weight 79 kg and someday I'd like to Dunk.
Adarq, what you do for people to help is awesome, my most cordial congratulations. ;D
I hope my English is not too bad, and be able to get me what I say:) if you do not understand something, tell me and try to express otherwise.
I would ask where to put an issue related to workouts without weight, and what would be most recommended in the gym to increase the jump (in January I will point out, when I'm 16 years old) I tried using the search engine, but there are many things I do not understand (names, types, etc) :-\
I am awaiting a bone age test to determine how much more I grow.

AGE: 15
HEIGHT: 1.84 cm / 6´
WEIGHT: 79.5 Kg
SLEEP SCHEDULE: 8 to 9 hours
BODY TYPE: Not too fat, but fat concentrated in the abdomen
GOALS: more vertical jump (obviously) more speed, explosiveness and overall strength.
CURRENT ABILITY: almost touch the rim (sometimes) I'm not very fast, but I have a great resistance in continuous running, and I can do a sprint. I find it very difficult to dribble to the contrary when I play basketball. I think that's all.
INJURY HISTORY: semimembranosus hamstring rupture of 9.8 cm (three months off) fully recovered
TRAINING HISTORY & ACHIEVEMENTS: Well, I tried to make the Air Alert 3, but I gave poor results (3cm) and left on the week 6. He could not fully realize intense, because it was in the garage and could not jump very high (reaching altech head) I also scheduled a routine of squats and calf Reises.
CURRENT ACTIVITY LEVEL AND/OR TRAINING PROGRAM: in the last three months I've only been training with my team 4-5 times a week and a game.
BRIEF OVERVIEW OF CURRENT DIET:not as much junk food (sometimes affords me) and what they eat any 15 year old boy growing without supplements.
IMPORTANT ACTIVITIES: Well, I would not mind to sacrifice for a while, but would be nice to be 100% on weekends

for workouts without weight, i'll be putting something up soon, within the next few days..
for gym workouts, the intro block in the performance blog section is a good start for lifting, it has lower template, lower + upper template, and additional reactive work you can add in.
put your bio that you replied in the journals section, then i can reply to it in there.

I will go to the section that you've recommended me.
As for the exercises without weights, I think I'll make a routine for on month or more (until start the gym) with the following exercises:
Calf reises
squats, jump squats and squat fast
abs: lower and upper
Pushups
I don´t though Repetitions and sets, but the idea was to increase each week and carry out routine three days a week
If you recommend some exercise, tell me if you want to talk about it in this issue or tell me where should I open another thread in the forum.

Lol, I can understand most stuff in Spanish with just spanish 1& some spanish 2. Speaking/Listening is the hard part.

Muchas Gracias, creo que podré arreglarmelas, pero hay algunas palabras muy técnicas que no entiendo.Si se da el caso preguntaré para que lo expliquen mejor :)
