look how lame this club looks (top club on south beach, Club BED), i mean, i'm not a club person, but this looks so boring and pointless.. some raves/electronic clubs look pretty sick, but this............... weak

I didn't watch the whole video, but IMO if you're going to go to a club, you should either be dancing or off to the side. It pisses me off when you have people on the dance floor just standing around spilling their drinks on you.

^^ Oh goodness.... Top 40 DJ's suck dick. But anyway, that club looks more like a place to just mingle, not really dance and stuff.

If the main attraction is the DJ itself, and people are pumped up to be there to support one of their favorite artists, its fun. Also, the lights are synchronized with the music when it's like that and it adds to the atmosphere.

But if it's just a regular night out to the club, i'll never bother. I go for the surreal experience of seeing my favorite artist who maybe visits NYC twice a year.

Hahha.. it's VERY rare that I do these things though. Plus I DO NOT take any kinda drug or even drink. No weed either. But when I do go out, it's always insane. Otherwise my time is better spent sleeping up for tomorrows weightlifting session.

But yea about seeing those DJs... It's awesome sometimes. Here's some things that I love when they do:

1. Play a new remix (that nobody's heard yet) of a really good recent track
2. Play a classic track outta nowhere (like 10-15 years old)
3. Play a new remix of a classic (remix that nobody has heard before)
4. Mash-up two different songs together that flow really well together
5. Drop an entirely new banging track that nobody has heard before
6. Live edits, on the fly
7. The set is over, the music stops, and the lights go off, and the DJ waves goodbye and walks away... darkness.. then, amidst the roaring of the crowd, a dim light flickers, and just the silhouette of the DJ is seen, holding up the CD of one last track to play, in front of the turn tables. ENCORE!
8. When #7 is combined with any other number listed here. That's like the PINNACLE of the night, ESPECIALLY if it's #3.

About all the "nobody has heard before" crap I keep saying. Well, what these producers and DJ's do is that sometimes they never announce when they have a new single out. Only a lucky few will get to hear the new single when they hear them live (and not just ANY DJ can get their hands on this single, only the producer gives it to a few others). It drives people nuts because it's new and refreshing, and it really creates a buzz in the underground trance scene about this "new track" that's out and everyone's dying to be able to hear it!

So yes, going to a trance event can be very very refreshing, and you cannot expect to hear the same music all the time!

BTW that video up there is an example of #5 on this list lol

^ Check this out, just went out Saturday to see Above & Beyond and they were mindblowing. Sick, dirty, nasty, yet emotional.

I recorded these (1080p if u open up in a new tab):

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5URFDXXRs5Q" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5URFDXXRs5Q</a>
1:00 is  :o :o :o

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDyQYeWBCcY" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDyQYeWBCcY</a>
some emotional stuff

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aemNydziKI4" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aemNydziKI4</a>
And check this out, this was the ending. I looked around and I saw some girls crying b/c it was beautiful
