Prior to his passing, Charlie Murphy kept his battle with leukemia private, so much so that his peers on the set of Power had no idea he was ill.
Murphy reportedly only disclosed his battle with cancer to his closest friends and family members as he "didn't want his illness to define him."
Knew he died, but didn't know he was in the latest season of Power. Took a second for me to recognize him, because he was so thin.
