Recent lag - Linode being attacked

sup everyone.. if you've experienced lag/latency on the forum lately, it's because Linode (our hosting) is suffering a major DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack.

it most likely won't go on for much longer.. but 4 days of sustained attack is pretty serious.
