The ammunition I have stocked up:

ON whey protein and creatine

Body fortress protein, didn't buy this, a friend didn't want his and gave it to me.  This has more stuff in it per serving than ON whey but i think it might have larger serving, not sure how good it is

pre workout Pharm assault and no xplode, just got this, yet to try it, kind of skeptical

Vitamins

For the meniscus and joints:

Is some type of BCAA for during training necessary?  or is just a gatorade suffice?  I was looking to also get this but I am very short on funds.

or

Ammos are starting to run dry, so is $.

ZMA does not help sleep that much. What helps sleep the MOST is getting one's mind right... that is having confidence in life, not being influenced by lies spread by society, and getting right with God the creator.  God exposed himself through the fact that things exist.  If things exist, there is something behind it.  Evolution is the biggest pile of crap out there and it is what is causing a lot of the trouble on earth.

Just when I thought you didn't have more in you.. your ability to entertain is unparalleled.

Exactly man. If something exists, there is a reason for it. Completely agree. God works in mysterious ways. He provided us with science so that we may in fact prove that he in fact does not exist. That's why I love god's plan and my faith in our destiny. We are all puppets on a string, god just enjoys pulling them every nanosecond of the day. He has really impressive rhomboids, lats, and traps. I imagine he can face pull the entire stack at LA Fitness.

But I digress.

If everything happens for a reason, which it obviously does, then why do the antievolutionists discredit science & the overwhelmingly accepted idea of evolution? These facts have been provided to us by our creator. Why do some wish to deny the facts given to us by god almighty?

The new testament was bible 2.0. It's 2012, two thousand and 12 years passed the glorious birth of the almighty jesus christ our lord and savior. Unfortunately some people are still reading bible 2.0 when in fact we are on bible 2012.0. There's lots of reading to do, in the forms of science, math, logic & philosophy.

But I digress.

I found out today that I need a heart transplant. This is very unfortunate news because I'm going to have to rely on some silly doctor who believes in science to take the heart out of a recently dead person and put that organ inside of my body. What the heck? I told my pastor that I would rather just pray about it and he was adamant that I go see a doctor. Regardless, I'm asking for him to pray for me because obviously he can talk directly to god, and as long as his message actually reaches god, then I won't need a heart transplant. So i'm hoping the message reaches god before I have to rely on some silly doctor who does this for a living, prolonging life through advances in science.

So anyway I heard that there's this big hurricane and it's going to hit New York. Well obviously it's going to hit New York because they are sinners that's why the Yankees didn't make the World Series this year. Let's all pray for them.

Hyperdunk, i'm with you 100%.

Peace be with you my friend.

Whatever dude, I used to think exactly like you.  Until you realized it isn't what it is.  When you end up in life where there is virtually nothing left that will bring you joy, when you've been through it all, then one will search harder.  That's all I can say besides turning this into an endless debate.

Life is hard. What search engine did you use? Bing? Try google, bing sucks.

There's nothing to search for. There's no "meaning to life". Meaning is what we give to life. Give your life meaning, but don't expect life to actually mean anything. I know it's hard to come to grips with, but sometimes the truth hurts. We are simply organisms which share the same biological components as every other animal on this planet  Our DNA is very similar to every animal on this planet, and in the case of apes/chimps, it's remarkably similar (96% in some studies). We are carbon based life forms. We eat or we can be eaten. We live, then we die: the same as every other organism on this planet.

Perhaps you missed something like this in your search for answers:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_evolutionary_genetics

Quote
A comparison of Clint's genetic blueprints with that of the human genome shows that our closest living relatives share 96 percent of our DNA. The number of genetic differences between humans and chimps is ten times smaller than that between mice and rats.

96%, huge difference right?

Anyway, hyperdunk, I'd just like your thoughts on this: Ok so you once thought like me, but you did a "search" of some sort, soul searching/contemplating a creator/reading the bible etc I imagine.. My question is this: If a prophet from 2000+ years ago was still alive today, and he was able to lecture you on his writings, give you first hand accounts of his dealings with god/jesus, what would you think when he tells you the earth is flat (which he obviously would because that's what they believed)? Would it make you think he is an idiot, would you be indifferent, or would you believe him? What would you think of this and why?

peace & f**k supplements, real food > supps.

^ lol not bing.  I used binoogle.  the power of bing times google, and I found God.

DOOD, let me just tell you, the debate DOES not end.  I can debunk some of your misconceptions on science vs religion, etc etc, but then a new question will arise and on and on.

I agree though food vs supplements is like squat vs leg press (lol 45 degree angle).

ok let's not debate but i'm curious as to your response to my question.. how would you respond to someone who was 'teaching you something', yet their idea of the world was less than what kindergarteners know today. If someone was teaching you something and they had no idea what basic algebra/math was, thought the earth was flat and we are at the center of the "universe", have no clue what "oxygen" is etc, what would you think of their opinion? I mean those prophets who people put so much trust in, didn't even have an understanding of oxygen & how we actually breathed, how life is sustained.

What is relevant is that several people (who were farmers, gatherers, hunters, nomads, etc, so not rich aristocrats) all predicted the same exact thing.

What did they predict and honestly, why would we care?

Remember when those people were predicting the world would end in 2012, so they spent their life savings trying to warn people and prepare for the rapture or whatever it is. Now they are broke just sitting there hoping it happens. Lmao.

Why people care about all of these fear-tactic predictions is beyond me. I guess if you believe that if someone is going to judge you prior to "entering the gates of heaven", you'll buy into anything. MUST_LIVE_LIFE_HONORABLY_BECAUSE_SOMEONE_IS_WATCHING.exe.

Why aren't people doing that today? I imagine you'll say they are but, ...

I'm still waiting for a "breakthrough" from the religious community. I see breakthroughs every day from the scientific community.

If you know of any, as they happen, inform us maybe in a thread. I'd love to know when something important happens which can be credited to the religious community. It'd be awesome to see:

- Religious community cures cancer
- Religious community finds ways to end wars instead of causing them
- Religious community credited for breakthrough iphone 6 technology
- Religious community figures out way to increase your DSL connection by 10 Mbps

etc

I predicted this is going to be an endless debate, and it is starting to look that way.

Regarding what they predicted-- they predicted that there will be a messiah that will save "God's people" from their misery.  At first, it was thought that God's people are the Jews, but it was after the messiah came, died, and resurrected did we finally realize that God's people isn't necessarily the Jews, but all those that simply believe.  So the "breakthrough" already happened in the "religious" community 2000 years ago, and is the only breakthrough that needs to happen.

Why do god's people need saving if:

1) Every single one of us was apparently created in the image of god
2) God could easily save people from their misery, he's god
3) Why doesn't god just come out and say "hey folks, you've got it wrong, just saying, it's X not Y, i'm god btw, since you can all hear me i'm talking directly into your brain from the kingdom of heaven network operations center
3b) Or he could just appear and tell us, would be so sick

Ok so, that's the only breakthrough that needs to occur. That we understand the people that "believe" are god's people. The disbelievers are to be sent to the firey depths of hell, to burn in the eternal hellfire.

God Hates Fags. <- God's people.

I find it funny you are falling for the trap of secular society by assuming that science and religion are totally separate, and by putting all people that are not atheist/agnostic into one category.

Science and religion aren't totally separate? News to me.. One deals with facts on a daily basis, the other deals with "faith" and a belief in something that cannot be proven via the standard scientific method:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_method

After understanding the scientific method, one cannot possibly state that science & religion are not separate.

Furthermore, the entire scientific community aside from a few "quacks", are either atheist or agnostic. You see, when you deal with facts daily, it's hard to accept fairy tales.

It's definitely easier to accept a religious person's idea of "creation" than to accept a scientists. For example:

How does light exist?

Creationist/Religious person: God said, "Light Be!"
Scientist: <not enough space on forum to explain scientifically how light exists>

Also, I find it funny that you call it a "trap". Science does just fine without religion. Religion only gets in the way of science, for example, with stem cell research and the ability to grow organs from stem tissue. There would be far more progress in curing types of paralysis & various diseases had a bunch of politicians with extreme religious views not struck down the ability for American scientists to experiment with stem cell tissues ~6-8 years ago. It's different now, but, that's years lost in the battle to find cures for cancer & alzheimers (sp?) disease.

Quote
Regarding the messiah (Jesus)-- over 500 people witnessed his resurrection, mostly poor fisherman, farmers and grazers.  Non of which had the incentive to conspire to such an outrageous claim and then get tortured by the Romans for their outrageous claims.  They were offered prizes and titles of authority by the Romans in exchange for them to simply stop, but they didn't.  Many were thrown into the Colosseum or killed some other way (especially by Emperor Nero).  Why would they do this?  Because when they witnessed Jesus' resurrection, they realized death in this life isn't even close to the end.

500 people witnessed his resurrection, but again, why do you care?

Some guy was born to a virgin (LOL), turned fish into loaves of bread (LOL), died brutally, was then resurrected (LOL), then disappeared and is now in charge of judging people and listening in on their thoughts + pulling strings on a daily basis.

You keep mentioning "no" incentive. Obviously there is incentive. Incentive to unite groups of people to protect themselves against another group of people (romans, persians, etc). You can't be that naive.

So if jesus, god, or god's son, i have no idea at this point, is so almighty and such, then why am I having this discussion with you about the most simple issues which prevent many people from believing this story? You realize that you are trying to explain your ideology about THE_RULER_OF_THE_UNIVERSE to someone on a forum. If god was so almighty then why would we even be having this discussion.

He just likes to fuck with us? He's trying to "see who is a believer and who isnt"? None of this makes any sense.

The bible already contradicts everything you will ever try and say. If we were all "created" in god's image, then he really did a horrible job at creating a peaceful world. He should probably be fired and replaced with someone more skilled, perhaps Steve Jobs.

Quote
Later on, due to all these events, the entire freakin' Roman empire converted to Christianity, which is how Roman Catholicism started today, and which is why so many people hold on to the Christian faith for dear life.

None of this proves anything you are saying. For example, let's say you actually think the earth is 6500 years old and such. There are mountains of evidence which disprove you. Let's say you claim that evolution is garbage, well, there's enormous amounts of evidence that say you are completely incorrect in your thinking. Let's say you claim someone was "resurrected", well, the only people we've ever actually witnessed being resurrected is due to "science" and the ability to necessitate people using various methods: organ transplants, shock panels, cpr, temporary cryogenic stuff, etc.

Science is much more impressive than fairy tales.. This whole god/bible fairy tale is weak compared to black holes, dinosaurs, universe ever expanding, physics, einstein, organ transplants, stem cell research, gene doping, artificial insemination, gender transformation, the human genome project, evolution, bozon particles, quantum physics, particle accelerators, nuclear/atom bombs, robots, etc...

Turning fish into loaves of bread, walking on water, thousands of failed "predictions", and being born to a virgin fairy tales don't even come close in comparison to the daily breakthroughs in science.

Lol, did I not predict that an endless debate could ensue?

That site godhatesfags.com is probably made to make fun of believers.

uh no.. heh.. That site belongs to the Westborough Baptist Church or however it's spelled. They are "christian extremists" who do lots of filthy shit.

If anyone truly knows this "religion" they would know that the God revealed in Scriptures does not hate any single act of disobedience more than another.  All acts of disobedience or sin is simply a symptom of how badly humanity has deviated from it's original "image".  That image isn't just the physical.  We are obviously not just physical, and we obviously don't act on just instinct.  We have a mind and emotions and endless other characteristics.

Nice, sounds really peaceful. What about all of the other murderous, hate filled comments littering the bible, prophecies, etc?

I mean I can just google within 5 seconds, find tons of links, and if I cared to actually fact check the quotes, i'd be astonished to find them in the actual writings, thus not fake.

Quote
Let me ask you something, isn't atheism simply another religion?  It is the belief or faith that there is nothing else out there.  In the end, everything revolves around belief or faith.

Two standard definitions of religion:

noun
1.
a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods:
ideas about the relationship between science and religion
[count noun] a particular system of faith and worship:
the world’s great religions
[count noun] a pursuit or interest followed with great devotion:
consumerism is the new religion

Notice the word "superhuman" or "controlling power" etc? That should answer your question.

Believe != Religion

Atheists may seem "like religious people" when they team up to fight the forces of evil, but they don't have any beliefs in controlling powers, spirits, god's, or anything of that nature... Atheists believe in science/physics as the explanation of the natural world.

As for the faith comment, again, you're "wrong".. Atheists wouldn't have faith in the religious sense, here's a list of 4 definitions:

a (1) : belief and trust in and loyalty to God (2) : belief in the traditional doctrines of a religion
b (1) : firm belief in something for which there is no proof (2) : complete trust
3: something that is believed especially with strong conviction; especially : a system of religious beliefs <the Protestant faith>

Obviously atheists don't believe and trust in a controlling entity such as god..

Obviously atheists don't believe in something for which there is no proof... Atheists support science.. In order to "prove something scientifically", you need proof, obviously.. For example, you can't "prove god" so it would never be accepted scientifically until god himself comes down and tells us his cool story.

You can make the case for "strong conviction", atheists have strong convictions usually, about their beliefs in science/evolution rather than fairy tales/creation.

But ya, everything does NOT boil down to belief and "faith".. From an atheists perspective, everything boils down to facts.

Facts lead to progress. "Beliefs and faith" havn't created anything that has benefited the human race, not that I know of at least.

Here's a quick example, given "god hates fags".

Religious Person: GOD HATES FAGS!

Atheist: Why?

Religious Person: It's in the scriptures.

Atheist: That proves that god hates fags, how?

Religious Person: It's god's word.

Atheist: God wrote it?

Religious Person: No, one of his prophets did.

Atheists: So then it's not god's word, it's prophet X's word.

Religious Person: But god spoke to this prophet.

Atheist: How do you know?

Religious Person: Because this prophet said so. <-- FAITH

Atheist: Oh ok, but there's no factual evidence to support that. Btw I'm god and you're going to hell for believing such a dumb story.

You put "faith" in all of these fairy tale stories written by deceitful "humans" who are obviously extremely "fallible" in a religious sense. You have no facts. The only facts that actually exist are:

1) Jesus seemed to have existed
2) He died
3) A book was written in his honor
4) Millions of people were mislead

That's it, nothing more.

So you put "faith" into those prophets etc, of whom you have never met & been unable to actually witness speak, teaching, etc.. How do you know they are not corrupt like the hundreds of other child molesting sexual predators priests & bishops who use "religion" to gain access to children?

You trust prophet X, but what if he was really just some sick pedo?

When I read those violent bible quotes, I can't seem to draw a picture of "nice people". They all seem really sick in the head from what I gather.

Brb, cutting off my gf's hand.

You can find the answer pages 22 through 34 in the Starting Strength 3.0 book.
