for us broke peeps, it is impossible to stop file sharing. Torrenting will be phased out, and completely anonymous networks will eventually be used.

There really is no way it can be stopped. The only way to "slow it down" is for the gov & companies to actively trojan the software we download. The more that stuff is tampered with and becomes skeptic, the more people will hesitate to download.

There really is nothing you can do about music/film though, it's just impossible.

Completely anonymous networks already exist, but, as the internet advances, they will become faster to allow for file sharing.
