Yeah it's definitely felt more active recently, got some new members and some old ones returning. Good to see.

Epic forum revival lately. Not that you need me to remind you, it is a bit too obvious when unread posts page doesn't fit in one screen and you need to scroll down! :wowthatwasnutswtf:.

And some stats, based on monthly posts: We are on a constant increasing mode since May, but it sky-rocketed in October and November, November was the first month that we got over 1000 posts again, and now we are not even halfway into December and we already have 570 posts, on a route to over 1500 currently.
And some analysis , i think that big part of this is having 'coaches' again, adarqui and toddday reading the journals and commenting in them. Plus some big returns ( mutumbo, flander once again, toddday ).

Good stuff everyone, keep it up!  :highfive:

It's easier to keep up than it is to catch up...

I noticed this too actually. It's made me want to read other threads and post in them.

ya lots of good stuff going on in journals (which is the heart of everything) & the rest of the forum.

there's lots of new stuff to post about on my part too; running (middle distance is becoming my primary goal), single leg jump training, tennis etc.

vag; imagine if LanceSTS came back too..  :wowthatwasnutswtf: really hope he's doing good, there's like no trace of him since 4 years ago.. I just sent him a PM on youtube.

I always used to confuse LanceSTS and LBSS.
Who was Lance again? I completely forgot now that only LBSS has been around since.

it's easy to tell us apart because i don't have a pamela anderson-style barbed wire tat.
Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

- Avishek

sunday: long very easy run 80+ mins @ 5:40+ (14+ km)
monday: strength/cross training
tuesday: extensive tempo (7 km) OR fartlek (mostly easy pace with mix of strides, hills, long tempo) 45 mins (8+ km)
wednesday: easy run 60+ mins @ 5:20-5:30 (11+ km)
thursday: easy run 60+ mins @ 5:20-5:30 (11+ km), strength/cross-training
friday: rest
saturday: short tempo 6-8x500 @ sub-4:00 (7 km)

strength would be:
- hops 2x10
- box jumps or ME SVJ 2x5
- squats 3x6-8 or weighted BSS/lunges 3x10/leg
- RDL/hypers 2x10-12 or SLRDL 2x10-12/leg
- upper push myo-reps or sets to technical failure
- upper pull myo-reps or sets to technical failure
- leg raises, holds, pallof presses
