i posted two olympic gold medalists and the first white guy to run under 10.0 in competition.

I still think my point about him getting heavier is valid.

no argument there. he seems to know it, too.

I honestly didn't want to say it but I do know that there are plenty of guys that weigh very little and are extremely fast.
400/200m runners can weigh 150lbs I.E. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Wariner jeremy wariner and Karani James(very new)
200m/100m guys usually weigh 180lbs, tyson gay, asafa powell, and Marice greene

Many many sprinters are ectomorphs and they can weigh 150-185lbs. weighing 150lbs probably has no negative effects on my sprinting. But I want to gain weight for aesthetic purposes.

I've had a difficult time finding Usain bolt's weight

Anyway i want to get to 180 with good aesthetics :)

I want to gain enough weight so that this guy stops staring at me

and I want to look something like

I did a workout but I had forgotten my password so I didn't journal it, just a speed track workout

Today I did some dunks but I got my hamstring really really tight
I then ran 30m warmup and then 100m with great speed, but I did not want to pull something so I stopped
I ran a mile for the hell of it, really fast too un-timed probably breaking 5min easily First mile in years :)

I'm doing a arm workout now, and I'll post it when I finish

I've decided to Bulk. I know i'm no bodybuilder when I'm after strength and speed, but I need the weight. I've been eating potatoes and pasta with 3 scooped protein shake and any meat I can get my hands on.

Looks like you could benefit from some filthily heavy back squats as well as a sickening bulk. That should improve your relative strength as well as get some more mass on you. You will notice that sprinters are massive athletes, you need to be heavier.

totally massive, bro

< he's 6'6

< idk who he is

<400m runners usually help to be light

the point of my post was that saying "sprinters are massive athletes" and is idiotic. sprinters are not all massive athletes, the end.

the second guy is liu xiang, the 2004 olympic champion and most recently 2012 world champ and WR holder in the 110 hurdles.

that said, you already know you should be bulking, so you, harvey, and i all agree there.

Muscles are nonsensical they have nothing to do with this bullshit.

Poor choice of title eh? As I've been busy the last two weeks with college orientation and working 10 or more hour shifts. When I have had free time, I've either been called to a party or slept. So, it's all on me.

So now i'm guessing I'm out of shape and I'll have to see what happens comes tryouts :/

I'll update today with my workout.

Horrible news, I worked out but I don't even want to post it from how bad I feel

My dream of running track in college is over, as the team won't even have tryouts because they are 100% full and are cutting members. What kind of shit is this! They won't even let me tryout.

here is the messages from emails exactly:

There are no open tryouts whatsoever?

Unfortunately no we do not.
<---- the fact that this is a grammatically incorrect answer to my question pissed me off just because.

Not only that, but since I was seasonal/temporary at my job, they let me go. They let all the seasonal people go at the same time. They are honestly fucked because they are understaffed like a bitch but I don't care now. I wanted the seasonal job to last the end of this week and the next two weeks at least.

I'm ranting in order to relieve some of the rage I have built up inside.

I think I'm going to start a bodybuilding routine and lifting like that because I can't lift/run without track.

Lamaitre is 6'2 160, don't know where you came up with 6'6, i guess you must think Usain Bolt is 6'9 then..

Sorry to hear about the track situation. The NCAA keeps changing rules about roster sizes and what not from year to year. Its unfortunate because looking at your times from this log, I definitely think you'd at least have a chance of walking on just about any team that isn't in the hunt for the national championship. Good luck with your new training and use all this crap as motivation to really push yourself.
