Your vert higher than your age?

I'm 31 yrs old and have been playing basketball nearly my whole life and ive always wanted to dunk. I never really focused on jumping, i just always wished i could dunk but never put the work in to do so. i played high school ball, but not college. I have always some time or the other played ball on the streets & most recently played in alot of leagues around my area. i researched alot & started to really focus on jumping higher. All the haters said your too old, just play ball & enjoy while you can. But i wasn't satisfied with that. I bought a pair of the nike+ hyperdunks that measure your vert in august of this year, i was very dissappointed to find out that i only had a 29" rvj, and only a 26" svj. Being 6'0 tall and playing basketball, everyone assumes that you should be able to dunk but that's not the case. I have a standing reach of 7'10, which means i need 26" to touch the rim & to dunk you need more than that. It is now november and i have been working hard for 3 months researching and lifting and trying to find out anything i can that will help with jumping higher. I know what i have done in the last 3 months has worked because i retested myself just the other day and had a rvj of 33.9" and a svj of 28". Everyone said to me, "your a good bball player", "why do you need to jump higher"? It's something every bball player wants to do no matter how old they are or how good they are. i did this for me, i want to dunk and i am putting the work in to do so. So post your age, and your vert so i can use anything i can for motivation to keep banging it out. And also i would appreciate any motivation you can give or advice you may have on what has worked for you or what i can do to better my jumping, thanks for reading. My current stats are below.

AGE: 31
HEIGHT: 6'0
WEIGHT: 185
REACH: 7'10
SVJ: 28"
RVJ: 33.9"

LIFTS: (don't know what my max is but here's what i'm doing for sets)
SQUATS: 230 5X3
DEADLIFTS: 255 5X3

CALF RAISES: 135 5X5
JUMP SQUATS: 135 3X5

You're pretty much where I am right now... but you have much worse strength numbers. I don't know if you're a one-leg jumper or two footed jumper.

I'm a 2 foot jumper....i can jump off 1 foot, just not as high. If my strength numbers come up then my vert should go thru the roof....

Just a question if you don't mind me asking.......? It looks like you squat with your legs closer than shoulder width apart? Is that true or is it just the camera angle on the video? Thanks for the advice, I'm really trying to get my strength numbers up so hopefully it will pay off!

feet are shoulder width apart.. just like how you plant an SVJ.
