Nice man, thats not "horrible" at all, its a max dead and you rounded a little and kinda str8 legged it, easy to fix those things.  Congrats on pr! :personal-record:

It was like 100% lower back. I mean, my upperbody is parallel to the ground and then I start to raise the bar... what I'm happy about though is that my grip hasn't been limiting me at all, weirdly enough. But because I have a much narrower foot stance when I deadlift vs when I squat, I think that's why I tend to bend forward at the waist (lack of ... what flexibility?)

duuuuuuuuude... if you want more hips you should be semi-sumo or sumo'n.. the end.. no reason someone with your lanky ass legs should be pulling conventional, unless you want lots of low back contribution.

semi sumo it..

I'm afraid of sumoing it... the disc could fall on my feet when I put the bar back down.

Oh boy he was really lucky on these! :o ;D

Yeah I'll try it, see what happens. Should be better for my structure for sure. It's for a deadlift what a wide stance squat is for a ... squat :uhhhfacepalm:

ya but, in terms of deadlifting, it's better.............. your back safety is #1.. you want to put yourself in a better mechanical position to lift more weight & lift it safer.. that's what semi sumo would do with your build.

What's your max deadlift Andrew? I mean, what was it the last time you tested it?

Thanks F50!

But nah, it doesn't make sense to push the deadlift... it was just a benchmark...
